The biggest error is the attendance imo. People stopped showing up because of management, kinda interesting that Bill passed away and the fans came back. My brother was the same way, he gave up on the team because he got tired of the star players being traded away. Hell he always bleed blackhawk red but he couldnt support a team that just traded away the hopes. Hell I had to convince him to watch a game and now he'd die hard again like he never left. The city always loved the hawks, always wanted to love the hawks but when you put shit on the ice season after season after season it gets old.
We have a team again. The hawks have taken over the city. Chicago fans aren't fickle, hell they love their teams. I mean look at the Bears been a joke for a long time (a couple good seasons are the exception) but you never hear about attendance.

You all laugh, but I live amongst these idiot, loudmouthed 'fans'. An 18 kid on my rec hockey team actually tried to argue the point that Backes is better than Toews. I am pretty sure ONLY a Blues fan would make that argument.
Anytime I go to games in the Lou and the Hawks lose, they talk mad shit. Then you talk back and they ask if you want to fight about it...then when you say sure, they tell you its just a game and to relax. Wow.
Try being a Cubs fan down here. At least they win that argument on merit.

Every year since the 'hawks' resurgence I've expected the Blues to take the next step, and every year they haven't.

Just by reading the article, it is obvious he is a bandwagon Blues' fan, you can tell by his statement on how every game is a bloodbath match. We all know the rivalry has not been as heated in the past few years due to the Blues not be much of a contender in their own division. Matter of fact if you look at the Hawks schedule...the Blues games at home are not considered premium games!
