Boozer isn't THAT bad..

If we can get him today or early tommorow, and don't give him a max contract, we still have room to sign LBJ. He is only 29 and averaged 19.5 points per game and 11 rebounds last. Does anyone really think that is bad?


Side note: David Lee has similar stats, but is younger.

Boozer is injured a lot...but is more of a true PF than Lee. Lee's got a much better shot though.

Exactly what X-Factor said. This past year Boozer was dynomite as he had been some other times in his career... but there's also too often been times of injuries and either just not rightly healthy or dogging it by him.

i like him because well he went to duke and won a ship there. Anyway...this is kind of another iffy scenario kind of thing depending if all these crap rumors are actually pointing towards the answer. Boozer CAN shoot tho he does have range and he like lee can rebound at a high rate. I think Boozer's PPG is inflated a bit by Deron but i think playing with Noah that frontcourt duo would lock down alot of boards and get you a solid 30-35 PPG combined production. Of course Boozer is not the best shot blocker, but neither is lee

I'll take being the Jazz of the East. If you took the Jazz out of the West, they could probably compete in the Eastern finals every year.

It sucks if we dont get a top FA but rarely do teams get to get a Bosh, Wade or LeBron in their prime. Boozer has the low post scoring ability that we've been needing for years. We will overpay him most likely but so what? Options are limited at this point. If we dont get LeBron, we dont sign anyone to a max contract. We can at least put some depth on this team. Hopefully Rose takes a step forward and can become a 23-10 type player.
