no way Brewer should start over Bogans, he is arguably our best defender.

That's true but he's not nearly as good as Brewer on offense.

Confession: I always thought Brewer had an ugly jumpshot, the way he jumps before he shoots...

Brewer is not that good on offense, definitely not what I thought he would be this year.

They're both just about the same defensively IMO

not really, we can rely on Bogans to guard guys like Melo, Kobe, Ray Allen, Joe Johnson.

Brewer, not so much.

Brewer is a better player than Bogans...he has done more with less time. Especially if Bogans cannot hit 30% of his shots from the 3pt line.

Bogans is a stronger defender, but not a better one than Brewer.

I don't know about you guys but I rather have Brewer in the starting lineup.
Bogans hasn't really been all that special the last couple games, in fact, he has been crap. If he is not making open three point shots, he is basically worthless. The only thing he is doing decently out there is playing solid defense, but that it. Brewer has been outplaying him.

Seriously how is this a debate? Just put brewer in there. At least he'll punish the defenders for sagging off him with his athleticism. Plus noah and rose have better court vision than watson.

bogans is slowly becomming the new pargo. strangely i find myself yelling at bogans to shoot. If the guy isn't willing to shoot wide open 3's, get him out of the lineup. He keeps passing up good shot opportunities for even worse ones. I've seen bogans refuse to shoot a wide open 3 from a lack of confidence(well founded lack of confidence) to pass the ball to deng who has to take a contested shot. Then the guy bricks a wide open 3, and tries to take a contested mid range jump shot.

I am so happy that you say you would like to start Deng on the starting line up I also like Gibson and his blocks and scoring :) but they are both great so it don't matter :) Let's go Bulls they should play Gibson with Korver along with Asik it's a good combination for them letting all the starters rest up

yeah I hear that

With that being said, most of us would like to see Brewer starting over Keith Bogans.
