i am going to go out on a limb and say that greene and bostic are not the nicest people in the world. Also greene still being a fatty is dissapointing to hear. Affer his first year i figured he just ate like a typical college kid and would change but i guess thats not happening.

Sometimes I wonder about people who post on this message board and that is coming from me.

It is amazing to see these pro athletes up close. I was in NJ back in the late 90's, got into an elevator to the parking deck of the hotel we were meeting friends at. In the elevator walked, Runyan, Trotter and one of the Eagles O guards. I've always considered myself a rather big guy at 6'2 (with shoes on) 235. I felt small in that elevator. Trotter was my size but the dood had shoulders that nearly stretched to the width of the elevator opening. Runyan was like a house, same with the guard. Both had to be 6'7" or better. It is hard to fully realize the bulk of some of these men.

erm, and women... Ran into one of the WNBA teams in the Charlotte Airport... I felt pretty small again. Heh.

Edit: Oddly enough, when I stood next to Dikembe Mutombo I thought to myself (I play a lot of basketball) I could box this scrawny guy out and out rebound him... Then I thought, who am I kidding. No way.

My son was in the same High School with Brad Daugherty's son, who played some ball. Now Brad is a large 7+ foot man, not the same slight build that Dikembe has. I never felt like I could have handled him, even in the briefest of brain fart moments.

If you are going to try and insult me, type out something I can understand rather than bollocks.

Nick, I never insult the English! History's done enough of that already.

I can see at least 10 sacks each for these guys and Greene becoming the new Special Teams ace too. If you aren't for these gys then you aren't a bears fan because negativity and saying things against the team at this stage of the season aren't allowed.

Only 10 sacks? Get your negative ass out of here Nick.

Met both of them at my work tonight, and let met just say, Bostic is fucking scary. Dude looks like the terminator IRL. Gotta say, don't get your hopes up on Greene, even though he's much bigger, it's mostly fat. Watch out for Bostic though.

Lol.

As a Gator fan having watched Bostic's career, he was a very solid linebacker and had a nose for the ball, along with being an excellent tackler. When he did well at the combine, he showed he had the speed to play at the next level.

While he hasn't impressed so far, he was thrust into a bad position. Tucker's defense was a clusterf&$%, as was the clubhouse, no defensive leaders, etc. Bostic showed flashes where he took nice angles to the ballcarrier and wrapped up well. He did get caught up in traffic. He may play alot better behind Goldman as well. The 3-4 has alot of looks for different types of linebackers.

I agree. Good post.
