I assume no one else is interest. Pac seems to have won the 4th round, 10-9.

Sorry about that man I was was watching the fight and on Twitter, didn't know there was going to be a thread but make sure you make another thread the next time there's a big fight.

Still can't believe how epic the knockout was. When Pacquiao went down, my fiance looked up from her iPad and was like, "I think he's dead."

I'm a bit disappointed that this negates the perceived public value of any Mayweather/Pacquiao bought that would happen in the future. Mayweather said it himself that the loss obviously makes any future dealings more difficult (a good article here). The loss actually brings a bit more intrigue to the sport, if you ask me. The severity of the knockout, coupled with how intense those six rounds are will stir up some more interest, whether it's in a 5th fight or Pacquaio coming back sometime next spring in hopes to get himself back into the pound-for-pound king discussion.

Unfortunately for Marquez, even with his first "no-doubt" victory against Pacquiao, I just don't see him landing another marquee name to fight him. Casual fans simply don't recognize his name unless it's connected to Pacquiao. Other than Mayweather and Pacquiao, he's never fought anyone who would pull in huge pay-per-view numbers or drum up interest outside of boxing purists. He'll probably step in the ring with a middling welterweight that produces a yawnfest of a fight.

Marquez can expect a fine from Goodell for a hit to the head :)

I don't get it...

Go to Worldstarhiphop.com and watch their fight videos. WSHH is notorious for videos that have people yelling "WORLDSTAR....WORLDSTAR" during videos of people fighting & someone getting knocked out.

I think the chances of seeing a 5th fight are greater than Pacman-Mayweather..

A bunch of us were watching the fight at a buddy's house. 2:59, talk about hosing yourself just at you were about to take another round.

Marquez was getting bloodied up too.

And that's a huge problem -- I don't want to see these guys fight again. The knockout was a great capstone on their saga. A fifth fight would just be an obvious attempt to cash in instead of upholding the integrity of the sport.

I don't think the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight is ever going to happen now but who knows anything can happen, the fight should of happened 2 years ago it's sad because I really really really really wanted to see this fight. It could of been a $100M + fight of the century but Floyd had to make crazy demands and excuses. Floyd Mayweather will always be remembered as the guy who ducked Manny Pacquiao. Marquez basically stole like 100 million dollars from Floyd last Saturday night. Should've taken the Pacquiao fight when it was there.

I hope there is a 5th fight because everytime Pacquaio and Marquez fight it's a war and it's up there as one of the best boxing trilogies of all time, but I have a feeling Marquez is going to run and retire which will be bogus because Manny has given Marquez 3 opportunities for redemption but hopefully a fifth fight does happen next year.

PacMan was winning the fight he broke Marquez's nose and gave him a concussion before he got knocked out, he had him but he was being too careless by going for the kill and walked up to Marquez and got caught. Hopefully Manny recovers and comes back strong, he has said he wants to come back and fight in April.
