I don't have to prove it. The burden of proof lies with those making the claim. Some weird story out of Russia that says allegedly is not something I'd take as a fact if I were you.
Logic tells me you couldn't do it. I've seen someone beheaded by a chainsaw and it takes some action. The neck is not a banana. You would pass out or die (depending on whether you cut the jugular vein or not) before you got through the spinal cord, and even if you got through the spinal cord you'd need to be alive and still able to grip the saw (impossible) to get through the rest of the muscle and sinew on the other side.
I'm calling BS on this.

It's possible. Get something to hold down the trigger of the chainsaw, position yourself where even after you die the chainsaw can still run and cut. Would be hard but definitely possible.

That would be very difficult and would require a precise and calculated set up. Sounds like this was done (or attempted) in a fit of irrational rage/frustration.

I agree the article is probably over exaggerated especially since the kid was only 15. His neck was probably fubar though so they wrote that it was cut off.

I've seen a video like that but the dude just stepped on the dudes neck and used a big knife to decapitate him. Fucked up. Recently saw one where some dude just took a shotgun to captured ISIS member's heads from point blank range. Blew their heads in half.
