Avery talked the NHL into it. If his comments about him doing it he would have gotten suspended where never said, Wiz would have been ok

Honestly, Avery is probably right, if he had done it there wouldn't have been a question. With Wiz being a repeat offender this isn't all that surprising. Avery played his game right there and manipulated the living shit out of Wiz, gotta be smarter than that.

Well while I know all about Avery and can appreciate the sentiment - the fact is, is that was a very bad look for the league -you make the league look bad- guess what? You sit.
Wiz was and is an idiot, the type that talks big but can't really bring himself to drop his gloves -- I really liked the cheapshot he laid on Seabrook last season and the bullshit excuse he did it for... the guy is a joke -now apparently he has added Jim Carey style physical comedy to his act.
Anyways - I got no sympathy for Avery -that guy is the same sort of clown as well - it is a bad look for the league.
Now on the other hand- it would make for a great scene in Slapshot IV or whatever number they are on . . .
