This board has turned into a Just Fields dick sucking cult.
Incorrect, we are fans of Justin Fields because he's the most talented quarterback that the Bears have ever had.
Why is it so taboo to talk about how bad of a passer Justin Fields has been so far in the NFL? Yes his line and receivers suck. There have been plenty of teams over the past years that were terrible and the quarterbacks still managed to throw the ball and have a few 300 yard multiple td games here and there. The rules have favored offense and throwing the ball for a while now.
Because he objectively hasn't been a bad passer. His passer rating is nearly 90. Also, you're looking at yards only like every other idiot boomer and casual fan but fail to realize that his average per attempt is 7.1 yards, which is top half in the NFL.
If you understand math at all, then this should tell you that the lack of passing yards has nothing to do with the quarterbacks capabilities, but has everything to do with the lack of volume in the passing game due to this offenses limitations.
The league has been filled with bad QBs on bad teams putting up 300 yard games and 3-4k yard seasons. Why can't Justin Fields? How does a nobody like Mike White come in on a 4-13 terrible Jets team and throw for 405 yards and 3 tds but Justin Fields can't even hit 300 yards yet in 2 seasons?
Mike White might not be the best example for a quarterback that puts up 300 yards on a bad team. The Jets have a superior o line and receiving corps.
I can more than assure you that if Justin Fields had Garret Wilson to throw to, he would have topped 300 passing yards multiple times this year and the Jets rushing attack would improve dramatically just from Fields' presence.
Seriously, this Jets team would be super bowl contenders with Fields. Their defense is pretty elite and all of those 30 point efforts from Fields would have equated to big wins for the Jets.
If Justin Fields was actually a talented passer the way the NFL is set up he would have lucked into a big passing game by now. There would have been at least one game against a bad defense under the right circumstances where they had a bad day and Justin Fields would have gone off regardless of the talent around him. It happens all the time.
There definitely needs to be more people questioning why it hasn't happened for Justin Fields yet.
This point is idiotic. No one 'lucks' into anything in the NFL.
Also, please point out all of the 'bad defenses' Fields has had to face this year after looking at their schedule and reviewing their strength of schedule.
You are a complete fucking idiot and have made not one single valid point in your long convoluted grammar abortion of a diatribe.
