Bennet is an underachiever. Also, someone was correct earlier. If he was on the Bears still, yall would be sucking his dick and throwing in a courtesy rim job.

I think those that were able to remain not but hurt about the trade realized that there is a big difference between public Brandon and private Brandon.

He has done a very good job crafting his public image after the disaster that was Miami.

It will start well in NY, he will say the right things, and then it will fall apart, it has happened with 3 teams and there is no evidence to suggest it won't happen with the Jets.

I found it interesting that he and Cutler have not spoken since the trade.

Waddle has eluded to just how bad it got between them last season.

A little surprised to hear that the Cutler bridge was burned considering they were Bffs.

What did Waddle say about the situation?

I think a lot has to do with the highs and lows of dealing with Brandon Marshall. The guy cannot stay away from media attention, validation and in general-- any type of attention seeking spotlight. What better way to get that in the locker room than screaming at everyone, including your qb? That.. Is Brandon Marshall

After years of going to bat for Cutler I think Marshall was thoroughly disappointed in his QBs play this past season. His, and other teammates, comments would suggest they felt they had more than enough artillery to get the job done offensively but Jay couldn't put it together.

Expectations were as high as ever going into the season and Jay shit the bed with what he himself deemed one of the best skilled groups in the league, when a season becomes that much of a disappointment relationships get rocky.

Nah man, Cutty played okay. Marshall just doing this for attention, and because Trestman's offenses always regress the second year, always.

Don't think Marshall will expect quite the same from Geno as he did from Jay but what exactly do you mean by throw him under?

Is Marshall, or Forte or Bennett, not allowed to say Cutler needs to play better? I know certain fans feel criticising Cutler is immoral but I see nothing wrong with teammates saying he needs to play better.

I agree.

And trestmans offense always does fail going into year two.

Do you have a link, must have missed this. Support him more as in give him hugs and stuff? Or add even more offensive talent to what is already a stacked unit?

To paraphrase Waddle said it was a relationship of highs and lows, but last season it reached the point where they no longer have a relationship.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-matt-forte-bears-offense-20141201-story.html Forte and Jay were on the same page and the worst Bennett has ever said is that he'd like to see more emotion and that wasn't during the season. That was when asked directly about his demeanor and after offering that he believes in Jay. And no, teammates are not allowed to throw blame around publicly during the season. Nobody likes a fucking snitch and it polarizes a locker room. Have you played any team sports?
It's like the 1st amendment gives is the right to give the finger to all our Muslim American service men and have a draw Muhammad contest but nothing good will come of it. Good judgement is what should get you elected and bad judgement will get you cut or traded.

Thanks for sharing link and I am well aware of Bennet's comments. To answer your question, yes I have played team sports and the fact you equate answering questions honestly about the poor play of a teammate to disrespecting someone's religion is frightening. How on earth is that the comparison you drew?

So you are aware that forte and bennett didnt throw jay under the bus but use them as an example of someone criticizing Cutler? Maybe Jay said have said he has trade remorse for Marshall since no team has won with him?
