Nabers and DJ. Holy shit that would be fun.
No matter the direction the bears go at QB, they should be able to come away with one of MHJ, Bowers, or Nabers and that is a giant win for the franchise

wait the scouts on this board said jones is a waste of time and couldnt build an anchor in 1 offseason...
No we just acknowledged that he needed to improve or we will need to draft someone better. He needed to get stronger and still was getting pushed back early this season. Don't be weird

Tackle is more important than TE.
Um, you're saying trade back from 4-5 if we miss out on MHJ and have somebody else trade up for one of the tackles because Braxton is showing enough to justify keeping.

My point was Bowers is rare enough to sit there and take because historically teams don't overpay to trade up for a tackle and he's special as hell as a prospect.

Bowers or MHJ/Kmet/DJ with Fields legs and development as a passer and the extreme return you'd get for the first overall pick (ideally a young proven pass rusher + future draft capital) is my ideal off-season.

Odunze is great too.

Verse just had a huge game. Plenty of others. Top 10 seems loaded this year

looks like we dont NEED to draft a tackle high after all

now if Poles can just go find a real CENTER, we will be in a great spot with our offensive line
Get one really good backup that can play either G spot for Jenkins and Davis who just can't seem to stay healthy for a full season or has all sorts of mysterious off field issues going on that they don't practice or play in games for. That could be Borom or Carter.

Do you know if there will be semi-quality centers available in FA and how does the draft look like in regards to centers?

Note: remember that the Bears thought that Patrick was a semi-quality center available in FA and now he is playing because Whitehair is even worse. So, hopefully better than that?

Bowers is special. He's a level above all of the TEs who came out last year and are already showing to be vital parts of good offenses (Kincaid/LaPorta).

Strongly disagree on the first pick part but Bowers allows Kmet to thrive as an in line TE.
Pretty sure one of the picks is going on a QB but the other pick for me is going to be WR, DE, 3T or Kool Aid if we don't re-sign Jaylon Johnson which would be ridiculous if we don't. The guy is an absolute baller.

TE is one of those positions you don’t need to spend a top 10 pick on.
What if it’s a TE with Kelce potential? Bowers is not like other TE prospects. Outside of MHJ, he may have the best hands in the class, and that’s including WRs. He can be lined up anywhere.

I personally hope they land MHJ. But there are only a few true blue-chip prospects in this draft, imo. Bowers is definitely one of them.

People are really sleeping on nabers as an elite prospect. It would not surprise me at all if he ends up better than MHJ. They’re both going to be bonafide #1s
Most on here have him as their #2 WR after MHJ so don't think anyone's sleeping on him.

I think Kelce is a unicorn paired with a goat. Teams need to stop trying to recreate that. WR is more impactful in general.

we? you speak for the whole board now?
there were plenty of haters when jones was drafted, still hated on him after a more than servicable year for a rookie 5th rd pick and this season calling for alt or fashanu to replace him.

I love Odunze as well and have him and Nabers 2A and 2B. Would rather have someone with more size opposite DJ Moore cause Nabers and Moore or almost same size so i'd be happy with either. My guy K.Coleman has dropped a few spots in my WR rankings.

Verse had an absolute monster game against Florida.

I’m not going to go through prior drafts but I’m pretty sure tackle is definitely one of the positions teams trade up for. OL is in short supply around the league.

I generally would never take a TE early. Having said that I view Bowers as a big slot WR who just so happens is big enough and a good enough blocker to play TE.

That shit where he bowling balled the LT into the QB for a sack was beautiful.

He was all over the backfield. Pretty sure it's the best game i've ever seen from him. But supposedly Florida's OL isn't very good and had an injury or two so take that for whatever but i still like my guy Verse. L.Latu is probably the best pass rusher but damn that injury history is troubling.

I agree. I’m all for MHJ, and if Poles goes Fashanu/Alt, I’m on board.

I’m simply saying if they pass on/miss those guys, Bowers is that rare talent that can do it all and will be an absolute weapon. Like MHJ, he is that rare talent at the position he plays.
