Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul

Just got done watching all of Breaking Bad (I know I'm late af) and I'm all caught up on Better Call Saul. It lays down a nice foundation leading up to Breaking Bad and the black and white intros in each of the season's first episode shows Saul after Breaking Bad. I really hope they expand on that even further to show what happened after everything went down.

Anyone else big fans?

You know, I don't think anyone is a fan of either of these shows.

Breaking Bad went to shit real quick, and haven't bothered with the sequel due to that exact fact.

Oh boy, you're gonna catch flak for this. But I feel the same way.

I highly enjoyed it until the 5th season. I still thought the 5th season was pretty good but it wasn't on par with the other seasons imo.

Love both of them.

I am going through and re-watching Breaking Bad and catching tons of stuff I missed on the first time around. Better Call Saul I was looking to be just filler, even a shitty BCS show would suffice but it actually turned out to be really good.

Didn't "love" the first season of Saul, but I'm a fan of the writing team and will watch all of season two without a doubt. Glad it's back.

First season of Better Call Saul is definitely slow and boring but it lays down a nice foundation so I think the newer episodes/seasons will be much better. Season 2 episode 1 was good so I'm stoked to see the rest of it.

Talking Saul laid some insight. They said its the hardest show they ever had to write. Shit, they said one of the ideas was for him to just have a different client every week. I think its going to get really good.

Breaking Bad was fantastic. It hit a bit of a lull with Jessie and his cry baby pussy ways, but it ended like a fucking champion. Cant say the same about "Dexter". Now thats a show that lost its way and ended as a DUD.

Oh and there is already a Better Call Saul thread from last year. If a less lazy mod would like to merge, because I don't care.

I liked how they made Jesse. It just showed how ruthless Walt became. Jesse wasn't cool with killing people. He had no one. Family hated him, all his love interests died, he was alone as all ****. He actually cared. Walt didn't give a ****.

The ending was sick though. Saving Jesse one last time.

Agree, Dexter was such a badass show the first few seasons, and then it lost it's way.

**** Jesse. Everything that happened at the end was his damn fault for not just leaving.

Well if Walt didn't keep a book from Gale in his fucking bathroom everything wouldve been fine. Jesse was gonna leave but he found out Walt poisoned a kid and kept lying to him so he just went nuts. Sucks he went to the DEA tho. Besides the DEA thing I was on Jesse's side at the end. Walt became a maniac. He had to die.

Jesse was weak and Walt wanted to die at the end. He had no doubt he would die when he did. Told his wife as much and made that arrangement to ensure his family was financially taken care of.
