Cmon man, not just last season.. You and I know he was always the only one catching anything on 3rd down before that.

Don't bother with "THE OSU" He is impressed by players that make their yards against Georgia Southern and Liberty.......Oh wait, there were also Maryland and Iowa State on that schedule. THose quality defensive secondaries should have given him exactly the experience that he needs for the NFL season coming up.

You might want to re-check the facts. The guy played through injuries that other guys would have sat out games for. He didn't miss a game, not one until this season. Like him or not, but Marshall is a fucking warrior and the best Bears receiver of all time. Period.

One person who sees what I'm saying ^^

I see what you are saying also. Some people just do not like to have people criticize what their beloved Bears do. Marshall was the best receiver the Chicago Bears have ever had. So they gave him away and these same people are going to somehow talk about how getting a 5th round safety in a weak draft was a great idea.

What they did was save some salary. Fine. That's fine. But what these kool-aid drinking folks are saying is that this money saved meant that they improved this team. We will have to see how this all plays out but so far in the free agent world, I do not see a lot of great additions to this team thus far. The defensive additions sure as shit are not pro bowl guys are they?

Harlon Hill was possibly better, maybe Johnny Morris, and Marcus Robinson was really good before he got injured.

Wow! I think everyone knows the type. I find it funny. They took bpa in the first (which was also a need) and they got a center. I think they drafted three starters. I think the draft was fine - now they have to coach.

Operative word being "had". Aging, expensive, exhausting, and with a nagging hip is not an enticing future. You refuse to acknowledge that, and it's bizarro.

"Bizarro"? Where do you find these words? Tell you what, I'll take that aging, expensive, exhausting(whatever the **** that means) ALL-PRO great receiver and be very confident that his stats will far exceed those of the inexperienced not recruited guy they got in the first round. Pace screwed the pooch on this.

Marshall is gone and it's apparent that they wanted him gone. The assessment of that is certainly open to conjecture, but they wanted him off the team. I don't know anything about it other than the obvious.

if I would of suggested trading Marshall for a 5th round pick, in mid season last year and then spend our first round pick on a WR.....I would of been laughed at.
and folks throw out the word injury prone.....which is fucking beyond stupid. Marshall went to the IR after breaking ribs after fighting for extra yards.
I don't know the real reason for Marshall getting traded, but lets not pretend that we are better off for it.
the probability of White, having a career as productive as Marshalls is slim to none.

I don't like crying over spilled milk.........but at the same time, im not ready to crown Pace as some sort of genius......my homer glasses don't come that tinted.
