I just don’t even see what Dan did so wrong here. Makes no sense. He’s been unfairly maligned for many years but this might be the most unfair thing he’s faced consequences for.

Dan Bernstein was the most popular Chicago radio host for being so polarizing. And he probably was the most knowledgable host out there. That said, those traits do not make him un-fireable. And you can chose to not like the fact that he got fired for getting triggered and arguing with a MAGA all you want. But the fact remains that A) this was not his first strike and B) he brought up someone's kids into a social media fight. It doesn't matter that the kids might be grown up. It's a horrible look. And we are in a day in age where what you say on social media can and does come back to haunt you.
