The guy seems like the right guy but hate the timing and most importantly that it doesn't matter because garpax will still have advisory roles at minimum and boylen remains unclear. Timing wise how you can do this without so much as a single face to face interview is astounding. Hope they get lucky.

I am cautiously optimistic. If GarPax don't succeed in acting like Bob Pulford to cut Arturas' legs out from under him, this is a major paradigm shift, especially regarding ownership. Maybe they will finally attract Superstar players via free agency or trade (Anthony Davis or Giannis pretty please).

I think part of the hire was him actually going out there thru his agent saying how much he wanted the job.

Someone wanting to be in the Chicago Bulls organization was just not normal business.
