Damn...thats crazy.

He will recover before training camp, but you never know with wrist injuries (Derek Lee for example)

And Hossa could have vertigo for 65 games, Crawford could tear his sack during training camp warm ups and Toews could have a disfiguring hang gliding accident.

thats a great statement and all, but something that actually happened and trying to make an example with fantasy land rebuts dont really fly. try to actually have a thought on something that is actually real, not fake. got it? great.

Speaking as someone who has broken my right wrist twice -- I am thinking most of the recovery time would be weight training for the wrist.

Better that than a concussion.

even though it makes no sense. ok.

No, it does make sense. I was poking fun at your automatic assumption that this will be a nagging issue. I agree that it's not good news, but there's nothing to say this will be a problem during the season.

The doctor says he should make a full recovery by training camp. Key word: FULL.

I understand the point you were trying to make- that this could be some kind of nagging issue that could hamper him during the season. But when the team doctor says to expect a full recovery by training camp- he means FULL recovery as in FULLY READY TO PLAY A SEASON OF NHL HOCKEY. FULLY.

You read what the doctor said and decided "hey, I know more than a doctor. I watch hockey on tv! Nobody knows how this will affect him during the season". You are wrong. The doctor knows. And as of right now, the doctor isn't predicting any issues.

But hey, you keep on making your prognoses, Doogie. I applaud you for running a private practice and still having the time to moderate a pro sports message board. You're doing the lords work.
