Professional Sports is entertainment.

He wasn't throwing games or anything like that. He had some fun with some fans.

Doesn't matter. Sign a hat or a piece of paper, but not money.

Gambling will not and should not be taken lightly. No matter how small or petty it is.

Personally I think the league should come down REALLY hard on him. I would give him a pretty big suspension for this because well its gambling. I don't care if its 5 bucks or whatever it's gambling and after the whole NBA thing it needs to be taken care of.

I know you all will think I am stupid and say it was in good fun, and I won't disagree with you, but it needs to be dealt with harshly IMO.

I agree. Especially when it is a player/fan interaction during a live game where there are cameras everywhere. it makes the coaching staff and the team look bad.

Still think this was hilarious, and various reports I've read say that there will be no punishment for Turco.

The fan has been praising Turco, saying he wished more pro athletes were like him.
