Vikings lose one of the top LT‘s in the game and the Lions lose the best DE in the NFL. Interesting…
It happened with 1:04 to go in their own territory down 10. Not quite as dire as MIN but I think it was pretty much in the book.I think the Godwin situation was different. They were down 10 with like 4 or 5 minutes left I believe. So while unlikely, it was a situation I think most coaches still would've had the starters in.
Vikings had, what, like 40 seconds from the 5 yard line? No reason to not kneel it.
I heard Nate Davis can play LT and Larry Borom is a stud at LT.He's their 2nd most valuable player on the team. Sucks for them as that means open hunting season on Sam Darnold. That man had among the highest time in the pocket in the league, basically owed to Darrisaw.
Ds are going to eat.
Yeah but didn't they just recover an on sides kick? Pretty sure they did so they probably had some confidence at that point that they could do it again if needed. It happened with 1:04 to go in their own territory down 10. Not quite as dire as MIN but I think it was pretty much in the book.
Not on that drive.Yeah but didn't they just recover an on sides kick? Pretty sure they did so they probably had some confidence at that point that they could do it again if needed.
Agree with most but chance of winning at .01% or somehow lower? LOLNot on that drive.
Either way, the play that he got hurt on was from their own 18 yard line with 1:10 left, down 10, no timeouts. The chances of winning in that situation are .01% or less.
Chances of an 82 yard TD drive with no TOs and 1:10 1/15Agree with most but chance of winning at .01% or somehow lower? LOL
This is why having a QB you can win because of is so huge. Get that ball on time and in rhythm and you can do without a great LT
