Other than a few outreageous signings, I think Hendry has been decent. His trades usually work out in the Cubs favor.

No. He's not bad at all. He's had a couple bad signings, but you tell me 1 GM that hasn't had a bad trade. We've had 3 playoff seasons the last 7 years? Something like that. He's a trade wizard. He got us Harden for nothing, Ramirez for nothing, the Lee trade was great, Bradley-Silva, he's done a really good job.
You don't get rid of him unless you can get someone better. And who is better than him that we can get? Exactly...
