Bryant is this new Santo

I went to about 30 games per year during Santo's time and everyone in the stadium knew, if the game was on the line, you wanted Billy Williams or Glenn Beckert and even Kessinger to come up before Santo. Both Santo and Bryant seem to play much better when they are relaxed and don't feel pressure.

There is data that will tell you if this is true or not so you don't have to rely on anecdotes to decide. Before someone posts the numbers, it's important to remember that as teams specialize bullpens, the best pitcher you're likely to face all things being equal is a reliever late.
