You know they came into this game looking forward on the calendar and just recycling the last strat. That cold start in the first says it all.

Good thing they were inactive at the deadline.

Otherwise this loss might be embarrassing.

Nope but get ready to run it back next season.

I’m sure AK will point to the return of Lonzo. It will be the greatest comeback ever and the Bulls will take 1st place!

They will be forced to make changes this offseason i think. Contract extensions due for DeMar and Pat that would put them well into to the tax. Barring a setback probably no relief from Lonzo Ball's contract via medical retirement either. Jerry isn't paying the tax for this team.

Oh and unlikely they'll be able to dump LaVine.

DeMar signs a Vuc-like deal at around 20 mil and they only offer PWill a QO and no one else wants him so he takes it, they're under the luxury tax still as this puts them around 165m with an expected luxury tax of 172m.

Solved it.

Lose to bottom barrel Washington, beat 6th seed Indiana. It's like last year, lose to the awful teams, somehow win some games against good team, then finish below .500 and lose in the play in tournament because why would you do any better?

Also shout out to Javonte Green making his NBA return tonight. Honestly, better showing today than Terry Taylor has shown all season

i think it has more to do with getting close to .500 leading to losses, then once they are safely below .500, they win a game or two again. opponent doesnt seem to matter much to them this year, they beat good and bad teams and lose to good and bad teams

lol this is probably more accurate, the closer they get to .500, the more likely they are to lose

It has happened before.

But they need to finish it, bottom line.

Watching the slo-mo replay Craig was short anyway so good chance it was a brick even without Dre's interference.

I can't even blame Drummond for jumping either. Who on earth would think Torrey fn Craig would try to do that? 🤣

Bulls do what we always knew they would, secure 9th place in the east so they can lose in the play in tournament. One extra home game to fill Jerry's pockets

In what I suppose is a fitting conclusion to the regular season, Bulls fall to NY on a missed Demar floater in OT, yet another "clutch" game. AKME salivating at how "competitive" this team is.

Bulls finish 39-43, 4 games under .500, pretty much where they have been all year.
