The NBA has a $80 billion television deal. Revenue sharing as you've said. There's no shortage of advertisers. Not to mention the NBA has very carefully worked their way into international markets such as India and China, and they already have the Emirates Cup so it won't be long until they get major coin from the Middle East.

But, you're right: it's definitely going to be alswank87 and the rest of his compadres not showing up to games that'll really force Reinsdorf to act.
It’d require a lot more than me. I’ll just be a fair weather fan. Let me know when they fall ass backward into a good team again.

Haven't found anything that says that play was for Jimmy. The play itself was just Rose getting the inbounds directly from Dunleavy then Taj sets him a drag screen and he pulls up. Could be he drew up his own play in the huddle like Lebron supposedly does, but again couldn't find any proof of that
I once heard this too that the play was for Jimmy too, but I find nothing that confirms that online.

Watching the play, Jimmy sets a screen for Rose.. Jimmy comes running over when Rose doesn't get open right away.. but then Rose gets open and Dunleavy gives him the ball, Taj sets the screen.. so I feel like this play was indeed designed for Rose just watching it with Jimmy as the backup.

LeBron being on Jimmy just seems like it would have been dumb to give Jimmy the ball.
