I figured I'd make the game thread. So here it is.

Looking forward to see how the Bulls come out to start in this one.

Damn when did Shaq learn how to shoot freethrows? He is incredible 6 of 6 from the line in this series.

Good start, I think this is the game we have to win if we're going to take one.

It's amazing how much better the team looks when Kirk actually shows up.

Wow Kirk playing well does have an impact on the outcome of games...go figure. Actually...I think they'll still lose anyway, so maybe it doesn't.

I'm really scared that we've left it close enough for LeBron to take it away from us again.

Not if Rose can help it! He went quiet through the 2nd and 3rd but he's picking up from where he left off in the first now.

Kirk could have 30 in a playoff game. I think Satan better order some ice skates.

Why the hell can we never make free throws to seal a game?

The Bulls are very very lucky the Cavs had no timeouts.

No sweep for the the Cavs. I'm glad I was wrong. But the way the Bulls finished this doesn't make me feel good about Game 4. but Rose played great and so did Kirk. Until they decided to start missing FTs.

But they won. Good job Bulls!

Man I was so sure the last shot was going to go in and screw us. Still we get the win ... I thought before the series if we manage to win a game I'd be happy ... would be great if we can back it up with another.

I hope the play of Noah has shown LeBron why he needs to be on the Bulls, not with the two decaying corpses he has at center. I mean seriously, when Sideshow Bob was in foul trouble they had LeBron playing center. The Cavs might win it all this season, but their run is going to be short.

I said somewhere a while back the big reason the team is a bad road team is Kirk shows up a decent percentage of the time at home and almost never on the road. The last little stretch has been a pretty dramatic example of that.

Kirk's last 6 home games: 27, 30, 6, 23, 9, 24
Kirk's last 6 away games: 5, 8, 8, 6, 13, 10

For the season Kirk shot a very solid 45.5% (41.5% from three) at home. He shot a horrible 35.9% (32.3% from three) on the road. The funny thing is in 06-07 Kirk was a better road player than home player ... I don't know what happened.

I've got no clue what the shinning is, but I'm glad I've got it.

If Kirk scored 30 in a playoff game, we'd have to check to see if Fred was seriously harmed by the flying objects and implosion of his house yet again. Fortunately, Kirk did not score 30, and Fred is safe. When Kirk returns to the way he played the first two games in game 4, all will be right with the world once again.

This is why in 06-07, Kirk got an extension. He played well both home and away, so his numbers were pretty much consistent for the year. Thus, he became a pretty good two way player in management's eyes and got his little contract that we all now know and hate. :p

Watching the playoffs thus far, I honestly will not be heart broken if we don't get one of the Big 3 FA's. Get Rose a legit #2 option (Boozer, Johnson, ***) & I think we're golden. Mark my words: Rose will be a Top 5 player next season.
