I can still see them moving Asik to pull in a third pick, maybe Asik and another player for the 7th

if Kurt Thomas decides to retire or if the Bulls decide not to bring him back, the Bulls won't trade Asik.

He's not even worth a 7th pick anyway.... even if we throw in someone else. Unless it's Deng or Noah, which I wouldn't want to happen.

I can definitely see him and another player to be worth a 7th. Asik playing an average of 30 min per game would be getting around 10 RPG, which would lead the Sac team. With another player added he would be taking a lose if we didnt have such a deep team.

There are still reports out there, the Bulls are trying to move up and package both picks. Move up to the teens.

The kings are still trying to figure out if they want to keep Samuel Dalembert. If they decide they still want him, they wouldn't even need asik.

I'm not high on im either...

but I think he would be a good second round pick.

Can defend and play both guard positions... although he isn't a great PG.... and has some range.

I would prefer someone else though.

I think anyone that would be upset w/ Nolan with one of the last 3 picks of the first round is either a Duke Hater or just being silly....He's exactly the kind of back-up PG we actually need. Good passer, can create...drive and dish...plays solid D...

please god no.

lol...seriously why not? I understand you don't like them in college...but if they can help your pro team win...what's it matter? I wanted Ty Lawson a couple years ago to be drafted by the bulls...idc who they played for the year before...

That IS true...

but let's just focus on Duke.

Under Coach K, 38 Duke players have been drafted by the NBA.

Of those 38, nearly all of the ones that were actually good-great players in the NBA were lottery picks. The only good one who wasn't a lottery pick that I can think of right now is Boozer who was a second round pick.

Meaning all the Duke players that weren't lottery picks weren't very good/didn't help the team much/didn't last long.

That's why I feel that way about duke guys.

Good to see Forman coming out and saying what theyre going to do so we have a better idea of what might happen. I expect them trading up more than likely now after hearing this.

The Cavaliers didn't think they'd lose Lebron James either. If the Bulls get the right offer, those statements by Garpax aren't going to hold any weight.

We'll like the pick, he'll never play.
