That IS true...

but let's just focus on Duke.

Under Coach K, 38 Duke players have been drafted by the NBA.

Of those 38, nearly all of the ones that were actually good-great players in the NBA were lottery picks. The only good one who wasn't a lottery pick that I can think of right now is Boozer who was a second round pick.

Meaning all the Duke players that weren't lottery picks weren't very good/didn't help the team much/didn't last long.

That's why I feel that way about duke guys.

With the last pick in the 1st round and another 2 picks before, do you really expect to get another Taj Gibson? Chances are, whoever we pick isn't going to be as good as we want anyway. They'll either not make it, or be James Johnson.

I'm not expecting anything big out of any of our picks.

I just want them to draft a solid backup SF and the BPA. No matter what position it is. If it's a C, take him and then maybe trade asik. If it's PF, take him and try trading Boozer fo something else. If it's a SG, take him and hope he can become a starter... if it's a PG, take him and maybe trade watson.

At the end of the 1st round, BPA is all you can really hope for.

Cheaper options for hopefully better players, which makes guys like Brewer Korver Boozer and Taj more tradeable.

with those LOW PICKS, I don't expect them to come out of WEAK DRAFT with a "STARTING SG"...Bullls are going to have to SIGN a SG or Trade for one

so hopefully those picks will be used on maybe a Back Up SF and a Back UP PG with excellent Ball Handling Skills and a HIGH IQ on the court, we had a lot of STUPID TURNOVERS against Miami...I would love to get Nolan Smith as a back up PG to Rose, Smith is similar to CJ Watson but Smith has much better ball handling skills, Watson is actually more of a Undersized SG, not really a PG

another big man but with more OFFENSIVE SKILLS then Asik and Noah wouldn't hurt either!
