Getting rid of Noah won't be easy given his injury. At least not until trade deadline.

Gibson is definitely more attractive. And if he's gonna not be able to get over Thibs being fired, he should definitely be dealt.

GarPax still sign their names on his checks so I think he'll get over it.

Honestly, I'd rather keep him and move him into the starting lineup instead. Noah should be coming off the bench with Mirotic, so he can play his natural position and get Pau's minutes down. Like I've said several times, the team just needs some tweaking and a new voice in the locker room. A major overhaul is not the answer right now.

It's kind of weird seeing footage of Hoiberg. I can't see the strings but I know they're there.

To the right here and now, its better to keep the team intact. But the Bulls will come close to the luxury tax this next season so I wouldn't be surprised to see Gibson go as a cost cutting measure.

We also consider Noah very much a team-first guy, but how would it sit with him to come off the bench?

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised either. We are right at the LT this year but with the cap exploding after next season, JR might be willing to bite the bullet this coming season if he still feels these team has a legit shot with Hoiberg at the helm now.

I think you answered your own question about Noah. I think he'd be more willing to come off the bench as an energy player than most. We'll have to see how Hoiberg handles the situation. From all I've heard, he's very good at connecting with his players and it seems like Thibs wore thin the most on Noah, judging by the comments he's made the past few years.
