Meh, what's his price? Belinelli was a good pickup. Howard is just getting slower and worse every year. I trust Rip's health more than Howard's. But I would rather give the time to Marco, than waste money on Josh. Plus, if it's depth we need, we're one big-man injury away from having a completely open door in the paint for big chunks of a game.

Honestly, I'd rather see that the Bulls were interested in Darko because we're lacking in big man depth. :smh:

I would take Darko in a heartbeat. There is nothing wrong with him as a backup, there is a lot wrong with him being a lottery pick, but we're not using a lottery pick for him, so wgaf.

How about the Bulls resign Eddie Curry?
Then Pax can brag about adding more championship experience to the roster.

We can't add anyone else. We're at the hard cap threshold. Unless we trade players for cap relief, what we've got now is what we'll go into the season with.

Actually, we still have a move left that can be made to add a player at the minimum without a trade. Derrick to the IL, which makes 12, but Marquis to D-League, which is IL too, making 11, allowing one extra signing. Then the Bulls can reactivate both, and end up with 14.

Rose isn't on the IL already?

Hmmm, you sure? This is from Nick Borges --

Howard will make more money if he were to sign with the Bobcats as the Bulls and Knicks can only offer minimum contracts. In fact, Chicago has a hard salary cap for the 2012-13 season and they can't sign anymore players until after some games have been played, unless they make a trade to lower their current payroll.

Besides, with the Rose injury, why would Teague start in the D-League? Even with limited minutes, I'd imagine he'd find some time behind Hinrich and Belinelli. I still don't trust Hamilton's health, either. He's sure to find 10-15 minutes a night, which I think will be good for him. I look at Teague as more of a future trade asset as opposed to a security blanket if Rose is unable to return to form because of the knee injury. Hold on, I reminded myself that Derrick Rose may never be the same again. I'm going to throw up, now.

You mean Hinrich and Robinson? I don't think Belinelli is a combo guard.

And with the way Teague played in the summer league, he very well may wind up in the D League at some point.

And don't get all in a hussy about Rose. He will be back better than ever, with more tools in his arsenal. Stop throwing up!

Haha, Robinson isn't a point guard either , but I totally understand what you're saying -- Belinelli is more apt to being a shooting guard. Honestly, I think he might surprise some people this year, in terms of his contributions. He wasn't half bad last year on New Orleans. He might look at this year as a change to showcase himself in ordet to land a multi-year deal next year.

I do agree that Teague's looked rough, but with his pedigree, I think it'll just take him time to adjust to the speed on the NBA and have a better understanding of how he has to contribute to the orchestration of an offense. I mean, the guy is only 19.
