Since the Bulls lost D. Rose last year who would have though that lightning would strike twice in the same place. Management go out and get Stephen Jackson or some other type of scorer of this mentality replete of attitude or with does not matter. What management needs to do is get some heart and step up to the plate so that these guys (Bulls) will have something to compete with. Letting Nate goes was a mistake (after thought) but still there has to be other players who can fill this offensive void hovering over the Bulls like a rain cloud, you block head (Gar Heard). While some my not like Stephen Jacskon's past he like others should be given the chance for contrition besides the guy can straight hoop. Now let this marinade.

I know who he would not choke out, period.

I am confident that one of the players that Mike would not choke out if this is the tenure of the conversation is Scottie. Scottie to me and this is coming from an old school true hooper was not having anybody punking him especially not MJ. Every bully knows who to mess with. We had bullies on all of the teams that I played on or mostly all of them. But , they (bullies) know who they can push around. Today they call it swag back in the day they call it tude as in attitude. Any way let's not like in the past who will be the tough guy on the current Bulls team who will make them play with some paninnies
/balls. Maybe there should be some slapping now!

Man, how the **** do you know Jackson won't help the Bulls? This team lacks athletic players who can score points ever since Pippen played his last game here. Suffocating defense and winning ugly games brings you respect, but it doesn't bring you championships. You need elite players to win, not the '85 Bears defense.

Stephen Jackson is not elite, athletic and he can't score points...

Because he's older and worse than the player everyone currently wants to chastise for not being good enough

I disagree whole heartedly Stephen Jackson is a big guard who is a proven scorer who can defend Lebron , Durante, and other big time scorer and the big thing is he is not afraid of the challenge. And he has a big chip on his shoulder , he does not believe the hype about so called elite players being invincible.

He has the ability to go baseline to baseline defensively , he can get his own shot to the basket or perimeter and he is long. Athleticism is a matter of opinion he may not be flashy but he is effective.

I honestly don't think any particular player will save this season. We all want a championship anyways. Unless we can trade for a guy like Kevin Love, nothings gonna happen to change our ability to win a championship righ tnow.

Old is not a factor here what is he can bring is much needed leadership. Like Bob McAdoo's was traded to the Lakers in 1981 when every one thought he was done at the age of 35 he help the Lakers win two championships. He may not have the ability that he used to have but he can surely provide depth to the Bulls weak bench play.

I stand corrected I did not know about his quarrel with Steve Francis but really this was some off the court crap in a lounge or bar where drinks and thing were being consumed. We have to let go of this soap opera crap. No one is perfect just because some other people have not been convicted for altercation does not mean that they have not been in them. It's about hooping anyway. He should choke out Dunleavy and Teague for being week players.

I think this team is just completely gutted emotionally after seeing Rose go down two years in a row. I still think they will play good defense, but they won't be able to generate offense for a full 4 quarters. They are only one Noah foot flare up from going to bad to worse too. I see the Bulls in the lottery this year. I also see the Bobcats outside the top 10 so the Bulls will likely end up with something like the 5th (Bulls) and 12th (Bobcats) pick for example. They will also likely have another pick in the 15-20 range from trading Deng.

And it's time to stop playing Deng so much, Thibs. He needs to be healthy in order for a team to want to trade for him.

I would be extremely happy with all of that.
