Why not? He's put the work in to get it this good already. Who's to say he won't keep working to get it consistent enough to be money? He has the work ethic to do so. Either way, you're still right about it opening up his driving game. I guess right now teams are just saying let Rose shoot but do not under any circumstance let him drive. I hope he doesn't have to live and die by the three, but he's taking what the defense is giving him.

Hopefully the dribble up the court and chuck a three straight away is just his way of not going too hard every possession in easy games and once the playoffs come around he stops it.
