The "Coaching" category is ridiculous. We get a C cuz Thibs doesn't have a contract extension? HE' STILL UNDER CONTRACT! It should be an A there unless Thibs is let go (which is not going to happen).

Well if you see the grades as "what did they do at this position" a C for coaching is okay in my eyes. The Bulls couldn´t manage to sign Thibs on a long term what many said they would do during this offseason. Even during last season there were already talks why this hasn´t happened yet.

Also if you have the same coach like the year before then what changed? A or B would mean you got a better coach, isn´t the case we still have the same.

Pretty sure the Bulls had a higher grade in coaching when they switched from Vinny to Tom!

Sadly, chicago is one of the smallest markets out there. There is no way that we could compete with such large cities like Salt Lake city nor Denver. Also, those larger market cities, they have two basketball teams in NY, nets and knicks; as well as in LA, Lakers and Clippers competing against each other. With this added competition, a small market like chicago could never compare to those other cities. It's why we never paid the luxury tax in the past. Let's see if we will pay it in the future. At the moment, trades are easier to facilitate IFF you're under the tax.

Excuse my cynicism, but I've been sold this bullshit in the past.

F- if that is even possible

I love my Bulls but it is no way I can say we are a better team now then we was last season...even by some Miracle Rose is able to return next season

only moved I somewhat liked was the signing of Marco Bellinelli and the draft of Teauge was OK but other then that :nope:

Either your in or your OUT, I don't think you can "KINDA WANT TO WIN BUT ONLY IF IT IS AFFORDABLE" as a owner in today's NBA, not saying do like the Lakers and pay that crazy amount of Luxury Tax but the need to do something...BOLD! Especially when your Franchise Player is coming off of a VERY SERIOUS INJURY and you not even sure if he will even be the same player he was

We have to find a way to get another star or hell maybe 2 to go with Rose...if we gotta Blow the season to land a stud then at this point SO BE IT! Then hopefully Bobcats continue to suck and we get another one in 2014 with that Pick they owe us then who knows FINALLY we maybe be able to take that next step regardless if Rose ever returns back to his old self

2013 Draft: Shabazz Muhammad! 2014 Draft (with the Bobcats Pick): Jabari Parker or Andrew Wiggins

Or Jerry can finally spend some damn Money and we go get James Harden or DeMar DeRozen:thinking:

Its an F because weve seen this before. Now the Bulls FO is dangling the "2014" plan on us. Which is another term for get ready, were abput to shed salary in an effort to save money.

They did it in 99 the year after the Bulls won their last championship. They got rid of all their big contracts, got high draft picks, and got way under the cap. With the idea that the Bulls would combine youth with a duperstar or two. So over the course of a few seasons, the BULLS ended up with Ron Artest, Elton Brand, Jamal Crawford, Brad Miller, and what shouldve been Tyson Chamdler. With enough cap room to sign either TMac or GHill. They got neither, and settles on Ron Mercer.

Then they broke that team up and created the next plan. The "mid decade" plan. It followed the same lines as the 01 plan. Stockpile good young players, picks, and cap room. They end up with Ben Gordon, Chandler, Deng, Kirk Hinrich, and a ton of cap space and high draft picks to trade for that final piece to the puzzle and sign a big name FA. These were supposedly any combination of Pau Gasol, Kevin Garnett, or Vince Carter to name a few. Themselves Bulls sign 32the year old Ben Wallace.

Then the "10" plan was dangled. The idea was to sign a bigg name FA to join the core of Derrick Rose, Deng, and Jehoakim Noah. Mind you we had to endure more years of mediocrity at best. Instead of James, Wade, Bosh, etc, we get Carlos Boozer.

And mind you most of the players the Bulls drafted as their core were traded away before they were to be signed onto a veteran contract.

So we should have signed Tyrus Thomas to a veteran contract?

When and how will the Bulls be a significant team after Miami and the Lakers have loaded up?
