Big difference between the 2 teams is that one made a late stretch with their defense, the other with their offense.

I remember there was a 10+ game stretch where we held teams under a 100 points, and it was just amazing to watch our defense come together. Don't get me wrong, it's great to watch our team making a late run, but when it comes to playoff basketball, if you don't have a good defensive back bone you can't expect to go far.

Bringing up that defense brings back some great memories...I remember that like it was yesterday. It is amazing to think how much Skiles really impacted our team. It's a shame his style grew old with the team, because his defensive philosophies and emphasis would be welcomed with open arms at this point.
