Go home ladies and gentleman the dream of a division sweep is over!

Lost the game because of: Shooting too many threes and not hitting them.

I didn't see the game but saw the box score. Someone tell our guards that they aren't ray allen.

Korver deferred to Rose at least 3 times in the 4th/OT. He's gotta take shots. He can make em.

Noah needs to own that damn glass, too...

He was coming off of the 2nd half of a back to back, and recovering from the flu. He'll be fine.

You are right about DRose, he has to take better and less 3's. Korver has to help later in the game though.

Given he was taking fluids from an IV drip before yesterday's game it's really not surprising. He should be a lot better with another couple of days rest.

Hopefully once Boozer gets back Rose's lazy move will be to dump the ball to him rather than jack up the three.

And Boston is getting thumped by Houston so at least this loss doesn't knock the Bulls down a spot. Would have been nice to get the win and pull ahead, but you can't win them all and the second night of a back to back on the road with Boozer out and Noah not 100% was always a tough ask.

Yeah, I completely agree w/ both of you about Noah...that was more just frustration than anything else...Rose has gotta realize...through Tibs or whatever, that he can't take 6+ 3's a game unless he's really, really on...

I'm still hoping we're just jacking around and trying new things for the playoffs...even though common sense says we'll play in the playoffs similar to the way we've played all season.

It's heartbreaking to lose this one. Not because this one game will come back to haunt us, but because we were so damn close to sweeping the division.

Oh well. I bet these guys needed some of the pressure off from trying to achieve TOO many things in one season without actually achieving anything.

on his three point shooting, i think it's better to practice your three pointers in real game situations than simulating it during a workout, and i think that's what rose is doing. i think you'll see a lot less three point attempts by rose.

I agree, working on them in game is the best. You still need priorities.
I don't mind the 3pt attempts for the most part, in fact I'm glad to see guys taking those shots, even Rose and sometimes Bogans. But when you don't have momentum in a game, you can't rely on a streaky shot to bail you out. If it's not working, , stop, regain composure, get momentum, get the lead, then things like 3pointers are fine.

man he needs to take the shot. Drose will not stop giving him the ball in crucial stages of the game. There's a reason Korver is there and it's not to pass the ball back to Rose.

Not with this team! :D Rose and Noah always take it to a new level in the playoffs. When you need two guys to get you a bucket, they seem to deliver. The cleveland series was an eye opener. Noah played like a second option on offense, and he played like a defensive stopper. Rose always shows us something new when it counts.

He doesn't need 8-10 3pt attempts to get in game experience with his shot. That's too many for a guy who's average from that distance. Like mentioned, if ur on then shoot away but dont start chucking the game away when you have other guys that you can create for or just do what you do best, attack the basket.

The thing that bothers me most about Rose taking the 3s...is he can take his guy to the hole on EVERY SINGLE POSSESSION if he wants. Yeah, he gets doubled...but he's good at passing out of that...maybe he's just tired of being beat up repeatedly and he's settling for jumpers to protect his body...

idk what it is, but it needs to change...
