Ya'll know they're going to play their hearts out in the pre-season.

Tanking is for the regular season only and it's hard to sell a tank job if everyone's healthy.

This team is only "tanking" their way to a .500 record

Julian Phillips showing the athleticism with blocks and dunks

Coby White looking like a much more polished player

It’s just pre season, but going to need Coby and/or PWill to take the next steps

Terry looks like shit.

P Will still doesn't rebound.

He likely won’t ever rebound at a level to justify him playing the 4

From what I have observed from those who have actually watched the games

-Coby looks good, tighter ball handle, better facilitation, solid shooting, overall looking good and building on last year
-Bulls as a whole increasing number of 3s taken. Still massively outpaced by Denver last night, but maybe that's on the GLeaguers. Main unit has been keeping pace. However, percentage is still not amazing.
-The training camp proposition of running more offense through Vuc has not come to fruition
-Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig look like they are fitting in solid and providing positive impact
-Ayo also looks good compared to last year, contributing in non-scoring ways in his minutes
-Dalen Terry looks terrible, still can't shoot to save his life
-PWill fairly unimpressive output, but supposedly has had some moments looking more aggressive offensively
-Zach looks healthy and primed to start the season well

Coby continues to look notably improved
PWill continues his trend of looking good when not playing with Zach/Demar/Vuc in games that don't matter

In inconsequential news, Bulls randomly sign Derrick Favors to a camp deal, not expecting much to come of that as the roster is full. Also waived that guy who had the big dunk in the first preseason game. They signed some other no name forward to a camp deal too.

Favors and that other guy immediately waived, both are apparently heading to the Windy City Bulls

In other preseason related news
-Offense running through Vuc, so far a lie, but they have one more chance to attempt to show it tonight vs Minnesota
-Team emphasis on taking more 3s is also a lie, team has been on pace for < 30 3PA in regulation in each preseason game except the first
-Media coverage really likes Torrey Craig
-Coby seems to have won the starting PG role to start the year

Didn’t they say the same stuff about running more offense through Vuc and taking more 3s last year?

I only watched some of the raptors game, but I would start Craig over Williams. Pat continues to be a disappointment. The sequence in the fourth was pure comedy:

Missed wide open corner 3 for the tie I believe?

Missed a bunny layup for the tie? Or lead

Then stepped out of bounds. Unforced TO

Either way, pretty much Pat being Pat. Craig brings toughness and intensity that Pat does not

Pat is just not now nor will ever be a credible starting forward on a competitive NBA team, he's a second unit guy and that's all he's ever going to be.

Also, congrats to the Bulls on being by far the least interesting Chicago sports franchise:

Bears: suck, but loads of draft capital and new incoming leadership soon

Cubs: trending up with mega resources

Hawks: trending up with mega resources

Bulls: trapped in mediocre hell indefinitely, with no plan and no hope to change course anytime soon.

Yeah bulls are fucked for at least a few more seasons.

i get that sentiment. however, in the nba things can change quickly. that said, they would need an actual plan for how to make it happen, which they do not seem to have
