He has a case. The fact that he is suing for 11 million dollars will discredit the case amongst the jury of his peers (the general public)....but that has or should have no effect on the courts ruling or ideals.

He doesn't have to get 11 million. The court can say you deserve 1 buck, or they could say you should be compensated to the tune of ELEVENTY SEVEN GAJILLION DOLLARS! More then likely he will have to prove his way of life has been disrupted and has cost him 11 million bucks. If he can prove he can't get a job, or buy a house, etc., he could possibly get a couple mill.

Sounds like he has a case, but I doubt he will get more than a moral victory which will probably be enough for him.
