Personally I would rather have kept James & sent John Lucas the Turd packing, but that's the breaks.
If this is a move for a 5th big, I'd rather have Powe than Priz. Powe knows the in's & out's of Thibs defensive scheme, is a tough defender, & solid rebounder.

I've never been a Lucas fan, nor will I ever. He shoots far too much, and really doesn't provide much else to be honest. He stepped in and did alright, and I thank him for that. But we could certainly pick up someone far better to replace him.

GarPax dropped the ball on getting rid of James. There's no indications we are getting a big man & now Rip is hurt again. I say call him back up. If anyone needs any evidence why John Lucas the Turd should never see the floor again, you need only watch the dunk I believe Megatron posted. Mike James can still play & he proved it to everyone when we played the Bobcats. James is a 9yr vet, who's been a proven scorer in this league. Lucas has been a notch above towel boy during his brief NBA career.

Not even joking when I say that Woody Paige on ATH today said he knows about Smith buying a home in Chicago & that their may be a deal in line. Needless to say I'm not positive about that one. Lol Paige likes to yank the chain about his former Nuggets.
