I'd much rather take a flyer on any of the guys FT mentioned as opposed to wasting a roster spot on a ball hog who hasn't been good in five years. Heck, I'd rather waste our first-round pick on a point guard and just throw him to the wolves instead of even wasting a text message on Iverson.
It was nice seeing him at the Sixers game, he relished in that. Fans loved it. If he wants to come back, let him play in Philly. I don't want him.

To be perfectly honest with you though, Jerryd Bayless would be a great guy to take a flyer on. He's 23, he's shown that he's able to score and facilitate in his limited minutes (averaged 11 points and 4 assists with his time as a Raptor), and shit, maybe he'll impress while Rose is gone and we can flip him for a pick or something. Hell, maybe we could even keep him and ship out Watson and our other expiring deals for anything of value.
