Wait... how much is left?
The Bulls are still in the running for LeBron James, who is going to make an announcement Thursday on ESPN. But Chicago would have to do some creative financing to fit the superstar under the cap after this deal.
FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Wait... how much is left?
.........On a day Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade committed to the Heat, the Bulls made their first strike in free agency, receiving a verbal commitment from Carlos Boozer on a five-year, $80 million contract, two league sources confirmed.
The Bulls visited with Boozer, a two-time All-Star, at the United Center last Thursday. As soon as Bosh committed to the Heat, they amped up their efforts to nab the power forward well versed in screen-and-roll to pair with Derrick Rose.
The contract also preserves enough salary-cap space for a maximum contract offer should LeBron James announce he is coming to the Bulls during his one-hour announcement show Thursday night.
