not tryin' to bash the new guy...but...Roy's knees got 2 years at most on them...how's that a good for our future?

It help in the future bc batun has huge upside. Only 22 and avg.12p and 4.7rebs. he is still improving. Fernandez is better then any sg we have now even playing lil d. Williams has not played much but has great size and has a lot of potential. I think one day could be a really good back up at the 1 and the 2. And even 2 years from roy better then we have got out of our 2 guard in a long time.

We gotta be realistic....I have been on the J.R. Smith bandwagon as of late but before that I was saying C. Lee should be the guy. Courtney might end up being the guy we land according to sources like Hoopsworld. We have no chance for Afflalo even though hes by far the best SG we can grab I think. Courtney Lee would fit great here and I would give Charlotte's 1st rd for him hopefully that's all HOU would want.

i think people over value affallo. he's going to want more cash than he's making this year. he's also on the last leg of this deal. I don't know denver wants to keep him around for what he's worth on the open market. More than just that, he doesn't have any more upside. he's 25. this is who he is. a guy whose good at catching + shooting and defense. He can't create for himself. he's not a star. he's a very good role player. I think denver would take the charlotte pick for affallo.

Bottom line... I dont see us getting out of the East without a shooting guard.. Out of the ppl you guyz have mentioned in this thread..i would take Courtney Lee.

But I think Kevin Martin will get us a championship.Maybe we can give up Gibson, Boogans and a 1st rounder idk... You gotta be dumb not to give up Gibson for Kevin Martin...

Rose-Kev.Martin-Deng-Boozer-Noah......Championship.

I actually agree with you on something...but, Martin is not available is he? We are talking about players that have been made available at some time or another over the season. At least according to rumor...if Martin has been made available, I stand corrected.

Mayo
Lee
Jackson
J.R Smith

Those are the players we are talking about..............

you know doug thonus made a decent suggestion. Andre iguadola might be available during the off season. The 76ers really have no prospect of getting better with iggy on the roster, and he's not a no.1 option. You MIGHT be able to trade for him next year.

I listened to DT today, too and I love his trade idea with Iggy.

But why waiting for the offseason. Is the trade deadline already over?

Iggs contract is Loul Dengesque. How could we afford him after most likely giving Rose an extension? I dont think this team needs to get a SG of his caliber. He need a starter worthy SG. Not sure what Martin's contract looks like but i would love him. That kid can score. I was a big fan of the Kings for a while and really liked what i saw from him.

A solid SG, a healthy front court and maybe an upgrade at backup PG gives this team enough to contend with anyone IMO.

i wish hinrich's contract was a year shorter. If we did do that iggy deal( i dont think it'll happen), then brought in hinrich at a little under the mle, our guard rotation would be set.

martin is a on a really good contract. The rockets are loosing a crap ton of salary this year in battier (6 mil)and yao (alot) million. I'm not sure if they'd be interested in shedding martin's contract. I guess i could see it if they were blowing it up.

After we signed boozer, we were bound to enter the luxury tax. We might as well go in deep? Also martin might be better than iggy ( at least on the offensive side).

plus after iggy dunks off a rose oop, we get to hear king say " do you know who THESE kids are, THEY are from chicago!"

Iggy is a nice allround player who would fit in our system very well. I don´t know if a Kevin Martin needs too many shots.

Damn imagine the Rose / Iguodala combination:

I think Doug's fallen into the wishful thinking zone with Iggy. If the 76ers wanted to dump him they could do so right now for a trade exception. Why wait until the off season and get expirings?
