Bulls Title Hopes Gone

Well, no use having a sense of urgency about this team. The Bulls aren't horrible, but they're looking like a 4th or 5th seed playoff team with no future. Especially with GarPax's lack of vision. If they're smart they'll recognize this team's not working and come up with a plan for the offseason. I know it's early, but I trust what I see right now. The Bulls need to trade their high priced players and acquire draft picks. Build the team around Rose and Butler and basically get rid of the aging veteran players including Taj. He's a solid PF, but getting younger and better is more important for the Bulls at this stage. Hopefully, Rose settles down and remembers how to play basketball again.

We're 3 games in.... The Bulls struggled at the start of the 2010-11 season as well and finished with the #1 seed. So I wouldnt be hitting the panic button yet.

Dude, we're only three games into the season & we have the same record as the defending champion Miami Heat. The season is very young & D-Rose will eventually regain his pre-injury form.

That being said, I believe that GarPax will have no choice but to trade Deng at the deadline because of his up-coming free-agency & his contract demands. I'm hopeful that it will signal the beginning of a domino effect that brings this team a legit #2...preferably Kevin Love.

I'm just being real, man. You look at this team, it's the same problems every single year:

- Poor perimeter shooting
- Lack of athleticism
- No consistent scorers to speak of (unless you want to count Boozer, the human turn-over machine who everyone agrees should be amnestied)
- Rose and Boozer still can't defend anybody
- Noah's taking shots from the 3-point line
- Perimeter defense is horrendous (they have always been at the mercy of teams who could shoot the basketball)
- All of this compounded by DNPs due to injury and now age

So basically what I'm saying is the Bulls are no longer a championship caliber team. This team cannot beat Miami, LAC, OKC, Houston or Golden State in a 7-game series. I wish this wasn't the case, but ball don't lie.

Even if we had won all of our games up to this point, it's not like we would have beaten the Heat in the playoffs when it mattered anyways.

The team has no post-up AND no perimeter shooting..when the game is only the line it is simply Rose trying to do it all. We will see what the Bulls try to do and get next year. We need an all-star to help Rose out...Deng and Boozer are not what we need. Signing bad players like Dunleavy won't help. We need a big acquisition next year.
