Nope. Although I don't live there anymore, Chicago is still my home and I love my teams with a passion. But I am not, and never have been a homer. I had a feeling the offense would be better, and it is, but I don't have much confidence in a defense that relies heavily on turnovers for stops. Smoke and mirrors only get you so far. If you can't stop teams from running on you and get torched by elite QBs, you're not a very good defense. Nuff said.

Well, no use having a sense of urgency about this team. The Bulls aren't horrible, but they're looking like a 4th or 5th seed playoff team with no future. Especially with GarPax's lack of vision. If they're smart they'll recognize this team's not working and come up with a plan for the offseason. I know it's early, but I trust what I see right now. The Bulls need to trade their high priced players and acquire draft picks. Build the team around Rose and Butler and basically get rid of the aging veteran players including Taj. He's a solid PF, but getting younger and better is more important for the Bulls at this stage. Hopefully, Rose settles down and remembers how to play basketball again.

These are the types of statements I like to re-visit...come playoff time when you will be humbled by your own incorrectness.

Are the Bulls good enough to win a championship at this point? No, for reasons I've already talked about in detail. Are they good enough to make the playoffs? Sure. I already said the Bulls are a 4th or 5th said team, so no big stretch of faith there. Making the playoffs means nothing in the NBA when half of all teams make it by default.

I expect you guys to disagree with me, but please, give me plausible reasons without the whining and childishness.

The team is about to enter game 4 of 82 this week. So what, 1-2 to start out. Got our superstar getting himself comfortable again on the court.

Yeah, this team isn't perfect and GarPax sucks at bringing in major help for Rose. Either way Thibs will find a way to improve the situation with what players he has. He has proven to be a great coach.

Great coaches find ways to win. Thibs & company aren't gonna give up at any point this season. We shouldn't either. I'm not even worried about this 1-2 start. Screw it, move on. Simple as that.

4th or 5th is too low, and I'm not a homer by any stretch. I just don't see 3 other teams outside of Florida that have better talent than Chicago on the roster.
