The panic button doesnt get pushed by me until PaxGar decide to make it there 1 and only priority to set themselves up for the draft...
Well, i hear thats there big plan.

Finger on the panic button.

Ok, carry on.

Where did you hear that from? That the draft was "there" big plan???

Where did you hear that from? That the draft was "there" big plan???

A transcript from a private interview with Pax was read on ESPN radio 1000 am. It was discussed for almost an hour.
This dicussion topic began on espn1000 about an hour after the Bulls- Heat game loss.....The transcript was read word for word....I listened to every word......this was not a televised interview........I believe its true.........I hope it isnt........But why would they lie and read a fake interview transcript thats false on a credible show?.........The responses from the Bulls boss sounded very Paxlike to me considering how much of a draft junkie Pax is known to be........The stand pat approach he used in the interwiew sounded like typical Pax repeating things that we have heard over and over throughout the rare interview he had made over the years..........more of the same from the mysterious PaxGar machine.

I wouldnt believe he meant hes planning to tank the season or anything like that. Tanking the season would be next to impossible with a good roster tlike the Bulls have. Thibbs would probably smack his boss's if they ordered him to tank, lol....Not happening.
But purhaps PaxGars plans on some sort of trade for a high draft pick in the top 5.....
I did however find it to be very incompetent for Pax to say, "we dont have a realistic shot at the top free agents next summer", hence the reason for setting up for the draft..Not very confident in himself as far as making BIG things happen that arnt dropped into his lap like Rose was from the hands of God himself.....well i guess.....Making a roster move for a star caliber player are not in the plans.....Even minor tweek trades for nba player that are actually already NBA players are also not in his plans according to what came out the horses mouth.

Either way, i dont think draft positioning should be Paxs #1 agenda right now.....LoL

And they sure ripped PaxGar for it on the radio.
These are the professional espn broadcaster, but as i listened to there views on the subject, and the fans call ins, it sounded like i was listening to SP94 posts all night. :smug:

I made a thread about it the other day and it got deleted.
The mod must of thought i was trolling, but i wasnt.

From a Bulls fans perspective, im concerned about Pax's NOT BIG, but LITTLE plans that too me sound like a major cop out........in fact im insulted by it.

They will get their wins.

And there it is... As long as the Bulls win some games, which is guaranteed considering 3/4s of the league is pure dreck, the average sports fan in Chicago is content. Miami collects rings while we get another season of meaningless wins. Yay us.

Miami, Indiana and Brooklyn are deeper and will have more wins this season, IMO.

That leaves the Bulls, Cavs and Knicks fighting for the fourth and fifth seeds, respectively.

That's right, I said the Cavs. Crown my ass.

The Cavs ayyyeeee??????
hmmmmmmm, that means that orginization is catching up with PaxGars progress.
Damn.

If PaxGar aint careful, Bulls fans may end up bitter like Cavs fans in the near future when Derrick finally decides to pull a Lebron stick and move.

I sure hope not though.

Detroit catching up with progress as well......The eastern conference is no cake walk anymore.

I want to see where the Bulls are around the halftime break and right after the deadline before i start to wig out though.
The NBA seasons only been here over a week.
Im calm.
Im calm.
Be calm.

WTF is with this chicken little/panic mode bullshit?? :shot:

The team is about to enter game 4 of 82 this week. So what, 1-2 to start out. Got our superstar getting himself comfortable again on the court.

Yeah, this team isn't perfect and GarPax sucks at bringing in major help for Rose. Either way Thibs will find a way to improve the situation with what players he has. He has proven to be a great coach.

Great coaches find ways to win. Thibs & company aren't gonna give up at any point this season. We shouldn't either. I'm not even worried about this 1-2 start. Screw it, move on. Simple as that.

They will get their wins.

And there it is... As long as the Bulls win some games, which is guaranteed considering 3/4s of the league is pure dreck, the average sports fan in Chicago is content. Miami collects rings while we get another season of meaningless wins. Yay us.

Conveniently ignoring the rest of my post? Ok..cool..

Not gonna waste my time over what you're already set on. Cause it's whatever. I really don't care.

Yes, GarPax haven't done shit to make anything better.

I went off on that recently. So I agree there no doubt.

Totally get why you're angry at the front office. Most of us are now at this point. GarPax have yet to prove they care enough to bring in another great player to play off of Rose.

GarPax deserve all the criticism they get. Passive aggressiveness will get them nowhere. Bring in players or they can get out of the front office. I am getting tired of them.

But...simply because I love my Bulls & have been a fan since I was very young. I will try to always remain positive overall.

Well said.
I love my Bulls and always have too because thats the team ive watched my whole life since i was born in the mid 1970s.
I rarely ever missed a game between 1984 - 1998.........Ive witnessed the greatness and feel blessed to have seen it.
I feel sorry for the youngsters that missed out on it because they wernt born yet or too young to have a valid memory.

As far as the being positve about the Bulls thing you brought up, yes i undestand where your coming from, but i dont think PaxGar will do anything until the fan complaints become very high.
Once PaxGar feel like the fans no longer support there vision, then maybe theyll change.

We should all write a letter the the front office that reads, "were mad as hell, and were not gonna take it anymore"..

As far as the Bulls players go, i dont hate any of them good or bad..They try...Thibbs always has his guys go out and bust there asses win or loose.
I respect the players because its not there fault that most of them arnt that good. LoL.
But at least they try.

Good read from both of you in the last two posts.

This portion of your post would be difficult to do, though. There are a lot of FO defenders on these internet message boards (not here so far). Too many board mods dictate pro-FO discussions & they seem to turn against the players instead. I've seen posters get banned from other boards for talking negative about JR & GarPax, while not following the board agenda.

Amen. :pray::

I used to get banned at least twice a week back in the day on espn for speaking the truth. LoL
Which explains why i had 30 almost identical similar screennames there.
Had to just to stay on there to preach the truth.
Then tried RealGm after years of being crucified for my truth on espn.
More of the same overprotective homerism and itchy fingered report buttons there too

Then i found this place
C.C.S is better than the rest of the sports forums on the interwebs.
Give this place some credit for allowing us tto speak what we believe is the truth.
Sure this site has its share of homers, but, they are powerless, LoL.......I only have had like 3 or 4 posts deleted total in 3 years.
Thats pretty good.....Everywhere else was delete, delete, delete, ban, ban ,ban and silence of the truth.
This place is better.
ChiCitySports is an American dream. :)

You won't have to worry about that here. We are considering banning people who mention that the Bulls should acquire Ben Gordon and JR Smith more than 5 times in a day though.

Lol yeah I hear you out! And you're right...we gotta at least try.

GarPax can bring in some difference makers or step down. Rose needs the help.

Pax builds good teams.
Pax builds GOOD teams.
Pax builds good teams and keeps puting our money into the ReinsdorFamily Dynasty from the visionary dreams and false championship hopes his puppet Pax sells us.
SnakeOil salesmen.

Stop buying.
Watch the games on TV if you must..
90% of Bulls tickets sell out before the season starts.
Every year sold out.
Us Bulls fans should stop being the desperate sheep, and make the tables turn.
When the Front office stops making Elite money off of a Sanford and Son bought product, maybe theyll start to actually go to work instead of the "stand pat" and "wait" bullshit.
The Bulls run there orginization like Hardcore Pawners.
lol

Just sayin...........again........

Jonathan Hood always says, "if you dont like this Bulls roster, then why watch?" and questions whether we are Bulls fans or not.
I say why compete as a GM, if your not in it to win?"
I say, yes im a Bulls fan, but we need more and want championships...But i will always hope for Chicago to win in all Chicago sports...

BUT that doesnt mean i have to spend money for hamburgers at lobster prices.......

how long has a 2nd shot creator been a need?.....they keep ignoring this issue

what hurts is we had one...sure he was only 5'9, sure he was inconsistent but the guy could create his shot and we had him in our grips and he was BEGGING to come back

....and they just let him go like nothing to sign a slow streaky shooting white guy FOR MORE MONEY

this front office cant even be cheap

I don't know about him having good D, but I know that if anyone did think so, they would be on the planet where composed fans exist, and not on the knee-jerk fan planet.

You mean the planet where the Bulls have JR Smith, Ben Gordon, and Nate Robinson all on the team?
