Hopefully Derrick comes out like he did in Game 1. I know the fouls probably took him out of his rhythm a little bit, but he didn't seem as into on the offensive end tonight. Like Newskool said, our bigs need to step up- they should be embarrassed.

I don't think the bigs have to step it up. All they really have to do is get 4 or 5 more rebounds. Miller definately has to get in double digits though

I'm calling out all you that live in Chicago..... If you are or know anyone that's going to the game beat it in there brain to be loud and crazy from the start. We need the fans on Thursday and Sunday. These next two games will decide the series. If we win both we will win the series and if we split or lose both we'll lose.

This young Bulls team fought there ass off this week to get home court so don't let them down

Overall, you have to be pleased with the outcome of the first two games.

Bulls went into one of the toughest home courts in the league and nearly took both games.

The fact that the Bulls were in today's game until the final shot shows that if they can play any resemblance of defense, they have a chance. There is no doubt they can score on any team in the league.

A few notes on the final possessions:

Gordon shot was clutch, but he shot the ball with 12 seconds left on the shot clock. I really wish they would have waited just a few more tics, as the Celtics had plenty of time to get Allen freed up for a look.

The Miller-Thomas debate continues to rage on.

Miller was +19, but I just hate watching him try to move his feet and play help defense. Tyrus does gamble too much, and he had a miserable rebounding day, but I still want him in there a head of Miller for game 3. Who knows, he plays semi well, just more fuel for the Hinrich /Thomas for Bosh||Amare trade fire.

Rondo was fantastic. Completely redeemed himself after game one. You can hear Doc Rivers during the timeouts saying how Rose likes to run out when he sees the Celtics shoot. That's one less rebounder and Rondo took full advantage. Still, today's fiasco was a team wide debacle.

Time for the Bulls to hold strong at the UC. They have played terrifically at home all year, and I fully expect them to win all their home games.

Just defend the home court and go back to Boston 3-1.

Simple as that. Our bigs need to toughen up. We're a better team at home then on the road, so we will win at least one of these imo, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but both is what they should have their eye set on.

2 words..box out..I assure you if we hold our own on the boards and BG/Rose/Salmons have their typical games, we will win. Noah and Tyrus just have to try harder, 21 offensive boards is disgraceful for a playoff game..utterly unacceptable

Hmm... Boston's BIGS got 12 offensive rebounds, their LITTLE GUYS got 9... including Rondo getting SEVEN of those. Our SG and SF had THREE REBOUNDS IN 82 minutes... LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN... THREE REBOUNDS IN EIGHTY TWO MINUTES.

BTW... R.Allen 3 rebounds... Paul Pierce 8 rebounds.

Maybe it's not just our bigs who need to rebound.

Did you notice how many long rebounds there were. Rando ended up grabbing most of those.

Yes, I did notice, did you notice our SG and SF only grabbing 3 rebounds with all the long rebounds there were? Let's put it back in perspective... 9 rebounds to 23.. our PG/SG/SF got less then half the amount of rebounds as Boston's counterparts. You could understand a few of those but 1 or 2 rebounds in 40 minutes in a game where there were nearly 90 rebounds is pretty ridiculous by any stretch of the imagination.

Tyrus or Miller?
Look, the fact is Game 2 was lost on the boards.
Miller is the better rebounder.
Was that so hard?

I have no problem if they are both out there.
Hate to lose TT's blocks, but don't mind losing
some of his decisions and shots. Yeah, I know,
he hit three in the overtime of game 1....

Let's be honest, thousands of Bulls fans across the
planet were going, "Don't shoot, don't shoot... Great shot!"

Help me out guys I just picked up a red and a white Rose jersey today and I live in Florida so will be watching the game @ home. Do I wear the Red one and SEE RED or since we're home wear the white one.

I'm torn and don't know which one to wear

I hope these 2 days off didn't mess up the nice rhythm we had. I hope Bulls players don't get overconfident or come out flat thinking that since it's at home, crowd will carry them.

The first 5 minutes will tell a lot. I don't want the repeat performance like the last game against Toronto.

If Bulls come out flat like that, I will go to UC personally and shoot everyone there.

If they come out flat, we will probably lose by more than 10+.

Here we go, I don't think the two days off was enough for the old Boston Celtics, come out and give it to them early Bulls. Games 3 and 4 should go to the Bulls lets get at least 4 players playing well and it shouldn't be a problem. The guards need to rebound, AirP is right. Yes the bigs did get pushed around but most teams that are outweighed or shorter crash boards with all 5 guys. Go Bulls.
