A few things from game 3:
- Rondo is BY FAR the best player in this series. BY FAR.
- I hope all those haters saw Tyrus running the floor. He does it, only not that often. My guess: defensive mentality - he's hanging back in case there's a TO. And after tonight's game, who can blame him for expecting one ?!
- I also saw him boxing out Perkins. Looking for him on the floor and boxing him out
- As soon as Tyrus went out with 4PF, Perkins got 2 off reb over Noah
- There's no home cooking. Or if there is any, they're using Boston's recipe, cause Salmons, Rose and Gordon could not buy a call on finishes at the rim, and they were mugged. Again, I hate to talk about refs, and truth be told, with or without those calls, the game still is a blow-out.
- Hinrich is still taking bad shots. Off the dribble 3p shots with 17 seconds left on the shot clock from a veteran are unacceptable.
- Salmons needs to be more aggressive. At times he looks reluctant to shoot, even if he's open.
- Boston adjusted on defense - Rose can't penetrate at will and Gordon is covered much closely. Vinnie is still twiddling his thumbs.
- Gordon needs to be more active on rebounding. I saw him casually jogging to a loose ball that, of course, Boston grabbed in the end
- Finishing around the rim by the Bulls has been PATHETIC. HORRIBLE.
- Hinrich can't stay in front of the carcass of Marbury.
- Mikki Moore is a moron. He offers virtually nothing other than a very high fouling rate.
While I don't mind the loss, I mind the game being boring and wish I didn't wake up in the middle of the night for it. I could have used 3 extra hours of sleep.
PS: I guess this can be moved straight to the post game thread.
