The offense wasn't that bad even, just couldn't get the stops they usually do. Which was as much the Hawks hitting everything than anything the Bulls did. I'm OK with them giving up the shots they did, I doubt that the Hawks can repeat that many going in.

Um, Joe Johnson is pretty good..

The guy has had 5 games of 20+ points in the playoffs.

Don't you think that's a bit much?

That's the vibe I'm getting that I haven't really felt before. This was a game they were supposed to win. And now Rose is getting the MVP award before Game 2... that's not going to help. Teams who have the player who win the MVP generally come out cold. The magic has run out.

Again, a bit over dramatic.

I don't really care right now. That upsets me way too much when the Hawks are hitting contested jumpshots all day long. Obviously, they can beat Atlanta but I'm just pissed off and tired of being optimistic for a team that doesn't deserve it at this point because they are not playing anywhere near as well as they could be.

Ok, so this could go 6 or 7 for sure now. Lol

Congrats to the Atlanta Joe-Jamalls tonight. The only two guys shooting arcade/nba jam-esq numbers for ONE night. (damn to think i used to use Crawford on NBA Jam 2004 too)

This won't happen again to Thibs. He will find his way around this loss & get our guys moving forward.

Yeah, it's always shitty to lose G1 when your expected to win it outright. It's only one game & this team has proven time & time again to prevail. They can win this in 6 (5 obviously seems like crazy talk right now lol).

Didnt see this game coming..Wasn't expecting blowout or something, but after we took the lead in the 3rd, I figured it would stay that way.

Joe Johnson will not have a game like this again. Thibs will see to it that he doesnt. With that said, I think the Bulls take Game 2. Won't surprise me if its similar to Game 5 against Indy. But it also wouldnt surprise me if its another close game. Either way, Joe Johnson does not hit 5/5 from the 3 point line again.

Lets also just hope that Rose is okay. Can't believe he fucking rolls his ankle with a second left in the game.

Interesting fact: This is the first Game 1 the Bulls have lost at home since the 1991 NBA Finals.

The Hawks had a very flukey game. If they play a game like that against any team in the play-offs right now, they'd win it on their home floor. I have faith in the Bulls winning this series still. We're not alone, look at the Grizzles smacking up the Thunder on their home floor too, yet I still think the Thunder will pull that series out too. We can't forget that the Hawks have been together for a long time and they know how to play in the play-offs. This is why I expected a hard 6 or 7 game series. The Bulls have a lot to learn from this season's play-offs, and then they will do some real damage.

Crawford and Johnson hit shots every time the Hawks needed a SHOT, even with good defense those guys was coming up with some GREAT SHOTS

I don't expect them to play as well as they did EVERY GAME, Tom will make adjustments on defense to take at least ONE of them away I am sure

Crawford might actually end up being the toughest match up this series though, looks like Bogans can't stay in front of him

Actually, they lost game 1 of the Eastern semi's the next year against the Knicks. That was the game that basically started that rivalry as they easily swept them in the first round in '91.

Atlanta's 55% shooting wont last. Bulls need to come up with some new offensive plays. it seems Atlanta knows the plays as they're being setup.
