Defense is still the biggest problem. But the bulls desperately need a perimeter shooter. Unless Rose suddenly finds his rhythm in shooting and starts showing up on D, they are not getting anywhere this year.

That you only show up when the Bulls are doing bad?

Give me a break. I have enough raging vaginas that run around doing nothing but nag and *****. I just don't live in the delusion that complaining all the time makes things better. Basketball is an outlet, something to enjoy. It's entertainment.

Well that might not be entirely true. I remembering hearing people say that the bulls are gonna be in the fifth place on Valentines day. They get there 10 days earlier.

Thibs is definitely on the hot seat.

You and I finally agree. I don't care what anybody says, Thib's is the problem here. Playing the same lineup the entire 3rd is just one example that he doesn't know WTF he is doing. Whenever fans start thinking that all of a sudden multiple players suddenly suck, it usually is cuz the coach sucks.

I used to think that Thib's was the Bulls secret weapon, but now I think he is the Bulls biggest problem. Keep on blaming the players, but I'll take the Knicks 1st for Thib's in the off season.

This team has a laundry list of problems right now. All the talent in the world to win it all, but lack the team effort to realize it.

Omg, seriously dude? I show up all the time. The Bulls doing good or bad makes no difference. They're a luxury tax team with no chance at a championship. You sense it yourself now, but you're afraid to open your eyes.

lets get real with ourselves..this team sucks

one way players, no shooting, no athleticism, and a coach that doesn't know any offensive sets

and the hunger that once gave them a edge is no longer there

stick a fork in em

Yep, Thibs is a one trick pony.

Why no attacking the rim? Not to parrot Stacey King, but seriously all the bulls did was stand on the perimeter. Dwight Howard was gone for crying out loud. The game plan on this sucked beyond belief.

And seriously, this team has no passion. They show the bench and rose is lost daydreaming. They better have just made a pact to go Lakers style and then get their shit together come playoffs.

You mean like the #1 College perimeter shooter last year? :dunno:

The most scary thing is that the bulls lose for different reasons from night to night. They certainly have what it takes to win (with the exception of a shooter). But it seems that they cannot care less about winning. There are no adjustments made during games. They just step on the court and hope their opponents suck.

We can't attack the rim cuz our bigs are too busy hanging at the 3 pt line. :dunno:

Well, I don't blame that all on Thibs. He is not there to make instant impact yet. But I do blame Thibs for not giving him a single minute even when the games were practically over.

Passionless. The Bulls have been this way from day one, and I've commented on it before.

My little theory on what's going on is the core players are pissed at the FO about Deng. There is also a lot of tension between the core players and Gasol. I don't think bringing him in was a popular move with Rose, Noah, Taj and Butler. There's not a lot of comraderie or trust between factions of the team right now.

Jalen Rose even commented that there seems to be locker room issues and suggested the Bulls hang out and eat dinner together after games. It was somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but it's not hard to see these guys don't really like each other much.

Bulls need Dunleavy back. I can't believe how much of an effect his injury has had.

i think you're reaching with the Gasol bit

only one i think that might be disgruntled at that move is Taj Gibson

Noah and Rose actively recruited Pau

This. Gibson seems like the guy who would be most pissed off about the situation. I think he thought he would be in line for a starting role this year.

i don't think his injury had this much impact

lets be honest it was times he was pretty invisible out there

when he comes back i expect to maybe have a small surge then teeter off again

but then we'll probably start blaming our losses on somebody else thats hurt...because you know the Bulls never stay healthy

Pay attention to Gasol's interaction with Rose, Butler, Taj and Noah on the court during the course of a game. It's extremely cold; little to no eye contact or verbal communication. They don't even make physical contact during the obligatory hand slapping/fist bumps at the free throw line. It may seem insignificant to you, but good teams with healthy team dynamics don't behave the way the Bulls do, and bad relationships manifests itself via poor play as a team.

maybe the opinions of Gasol have changed in the locker room but it wasn't like that to start
