Flip has tried to install a system but none of his players are taking it seriously. He's probably got the biggest collection of knuckleheads in the league on that team. I was surprised he even took the Wiz job. If I was him I know I wouldn't have.

ive watched a few wiz games, theyre not horrible. antawn jamison is a great guy to watch. its hard to talk trash about a team when your team blows a 35 point the way the bulls did. at this point i feel like i have no right to bash on any team right now. not even the nets, cz they beat us

So true. Such a sad state of affairs.

Sounds like he failed where Eddie Jordan succeeded.

Feel sorry? He hasn't put in any type of offensive system. Its a free for all. What do you expect? For someone who harps on Vinny for it all day, I am surprised you feel sorry for Flip.

Oh and Arenas has been really inefficent. His jumper wasn't falling at all in the begining of the year. Its smoothing out a bit as of late but not there yet.

First day of camp Saunders handed out ipods with all of the offensive plays on there. He definitely had an offensive system and he is twice the coach Vinny is...

Again, he failed where Eddie Jordan succeeded. He also didn't do anything special with the pistons and only got out of the first round once with KG. The guy is nothing special as a coach, just has had a great player or team before.

What do you consider "special"? Flip is a pretty good coach. Vinny is not nearly as good a coach at this time. If Vinny went to the ECF that many times...he would have a better reputation.

Flip is considered one of the more thorough, well prepared coaches in the league, hence the ipods. Vinny would give the players ipods...with one play on it...Rose pick and roll....

Why are you comparing the two? Flip is clearly better than Vinny but he is not the top notch coach people make him out to be. He has had championship talent and always fizzled out. The Pistons were already a ecf and title team before flip got there. He also couldn't connect with players there like he can't in Washington. Flip is an average NBA coach that just got his rep built up by KG and a Pistons team that was already good.

I think he is a bit better than average. You made a groundless statement about him having no offensive system...I said he did install a system...a somewhat complicated system. He always does...to show how good the Wiz considers him...they are shopping those players, not the coach...because the failure there is not the coaches fault...

Fine, he has a system. One that he can't get the players to produce on the floor. Thats the reason I said he didn't have one. The same thing happened in Detroit. Players don't listen to him. And its not like the wiz players can't run a system, they did fine running the princeton offense for years.

Saunders has never had his team preform to expectations. He got out of the first round only once in Minnesota, he couldn't get out the ecf in Detroit and now he can't do anything with a talented team in Washington. They are clearly crumbling in the 4th and he can't get them over the hump despite having three allstar caliber players. I would hardly consider him above average. I consider very few coaches in this league difference makers and he just isn't one of them.

Rose went 11/20 just sounds good but if you watched this game, Rose looked great with his shooting, he looked extreamly consisten throughout the whole game and it seemed as if he just got those 28 points so easily, once he can shoot the ball consistently like how he did today, it's a wrap.:side:
