Good win and a much needed win by the Bulls. Rose with 20 points, Gasol with 20 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks (But but he's the problem doe!). Snell is playing with confidence and had one of his best games of his career so far.

Mirotic with 2 beautiful passes to McDermott and Moore (assist and dunk of the night) was great to watch. Doug with 9 points in 4 minutes showing that he should get an opportunity to earn more PT.

Snell, McDermott and Moore should all be ahead of Hinrich in the depth chart. Thibs needs to realize this before the playoffs.

:flipa: Why the **** call me out like that? Thib's said so they can get him minutes. Maybe if they're up by 30, he could get some minutes? :dunno:
Idk, I thought it was funny. Nothing against you, we are just keenly aware.of your opinions. That's what a message board is for.
And it really could be any other BP. You never know.

not putting much stock in this win

i'll need more than one win against a team thats best player got hurt

i mean i hope its a turning point but you could have said that about the spurs game 2 weeks ago

big game from Tony...must have read my/ChiSoxCity's posts on him not being able to shoot

Wins mean nothing, losses mean everything

At least you can say the Bulls did what they were supposed to do without Davis in the game

no wins mean something but we have had too many bad losses for one good win to change my outlook

if they can play with some consistency and actually look like a good team (moving the ball, playing defense, etc) then i'll change my tune

like i said we had a big win over the Spurs (and Dallas) then fell back into old ways

you're right though watch us get blown out by the magic :troll:

speaking of Magic, Scott Skiles is being considered for the coaching position
---

"hey Ben, why do you think about the recent rumors of Skiles possibly coaching the magic?"

"do what?"

Personally, I think this is telling for the Bulls:

I really think Thib's has been riding McD unfairly. I'm not sure if anyone else noticed when McD went into the game last night, but McD went over to congratulate Snell on having a good game, and Thib's yelled at McD to get out on the floor. Imo, there's some dissension between Thib's and some of the young players. I think this is one of Thib's biggest weakness'.

Then there's Thib's stubborn attitude:

The real question is... "Does Thib's have a pretty good understanding of what offense is"?

So is it true Kirk Hinrich missed most of last night's game?

He played 15 minutes and scored 2 points on 1-4 shooting. He then injured his toe. Snell then played 25 minutes and went 7-10 from the field with 5-6 from the 3 point line, and looked real good doing it.

And Thib's put McD in with 4 minutes to go and the Bulls up 30+ points, after Moore and Bairtow had already played. McD then scored 9 points on 3-3 shooting with 1-1 from the 3 point line. Oh, and looked real good doing it.

:dunno: Thib's coach of the year?

McD was also playing against 2nd/3rd stringers at that point. Iwouldn't look much into that.

As far as Hinrich, I kinda hope his toe keeps him out a week so I can see how the team plays without him. Too bad the AS Break is coming up.. So maybe we'll get 3 games without him..

I don't put too much into this game at all. The Pel's had played 2 games in 3 nights and were tired. Then, Davis was injured and finally left the game. The Bulls poured it on at that point.

Also, I'm not suggesting that McD get inserted into the starting lineup right away, but he looked good and drilled his one 3 pt attempt. He and Niko also showed some real nice chemistry together.

Niko also tweeted that he was happy his "brother", McD, got some playing time. This suggests to me that Niko and McD have a good chemistry, and should get some minutes together if Thib's was smart. :dunno:

I'd trade Thibs to the Knicks for their 1st rounder (probably next year though) in a heartbeat. Thibs is a slightly better Scott Skiles. Good for a team that is coming from the bottom of the standings that has young players that will run through a wall for awhile until they won't. Right now, the Bulls are not that kind of team, and Thibs is not the right guy to get them over the top. Knicks will likely do something really stupid going after Thibs, and the Bulls should benefit from it.

Hinrich apparently has turf toe. Should keep him out a little while.

I guess that means he'll miss the Intangibles Contest at All-Star Weekend.

***insert spoof of commentators in Marv Albert voices saying "These guys are literally doing nothing, not a single one of them has added any statistical value to the game. This is going to be a very close competition."

So, Thibs is just an average coach eh? Nonsense. Check out what his winning percentage is as a head coach in the NBA. Pretty damn high isn't it? he has been given shit for help while Rose was down. That is on Gar/Pax. Is he perfect? Hell no but what coach is? Besides. Why in the hell would Thibs want to go to the Knicks, especially with that jag-off President that they have? Thibs will write his own ticket where ever HE wants to go and NY will not be a destination.
