Rose starting hot and Johnson with two quick fouls again.

Hope we win this important game!

I don´t know whats wrong with CSN, I have Rockets TV here on league pass. They just said this:

"Hinrich played PG in Chicago till couple of seasons ago, when Rose was drafted." Couple of seasons? It was last season. You should remember things correctly when it´s such a short time.

"Hinrich is not really a PG, he´s more an undersized SG." I don´t know about that one. In my opinion he is more a point guard. I mean he is not a good scorer but gives many assists.

Looks like Neil and King are not the only ones who don´t know anything about the other team.

Oh now I have King and Funk back. Yeah! :D

That's some A grade acting by Martin to get that foul on Kirk.

Wow I think Vinny told Derrick that he will get as much candy as he wants if he makes 25 threes till the end of the season :D

Ooh and Vinny too. Good for him, the refs are screwing us.

Some great work to hold them to 13 that quarter, shouldn't have even made double digits if not for the refs.

The comments about Hinrich are not that bad or that off base either. Honestly I thought the same thing when he came into the league since he hadn't run the point at Kansas since his Sophmore season. In fact, he averaged less than 5apg throughout his college career. He was the off guard most of the time. His senior season he barely ran the point at all. It was Miles I would say 95% of the time.

And look at Kirk's assists in the NBA. Even in his best season he couldn't muster more than 7apg. He's neither PG nor SG, I'd say he's a combo guard more than anything.

7 assists a game is a pretty high standard. There's only 8 point guards in the league this year by that definition.

That's in a career year. I'm not saying he can't run the point but I don't look at Kirk & say that's a PG. He's a combo guard. He can play both positions *cough* effectively, but neither one really that well. And considering he only ran the point half of his college career & none of the years he was successful at Kansas, I think it's a fair assessment.

And honestly, look at the league. There really are not many pure PGs out there. Most of these guys are combo guards just like Kirk. Like skilled big men, pure points are really hard to come by. But look at how much better they make a team.

I'd say Kirk is a combo guard who does better when plugged into the PG position. That's just my take though. Sure he's not a 7 assist per game guy, but he's come pretty close (6.8 one year I think and some of like 6.6 maybe). He can run the point pretty well and he can defend the SG position pretty darn well for someone of his stature.

Kirk 4-4 from 3 and even hit a shot in the clutch. He needs another 3 so he can join Fred's 20 points against a winning team club though. ;)

Just pass the ball to Kirk on the next few inbounds so he can shoot FT's until he gets to 20 points.
