I'm still waiting for someone like Cowherd to tell us how much better Rondo would be if he got to be PG on the Heat...which is funny, b/c I would be a serviceable NBA pg if I was on that team.

No, but I've heard him say on more than one occasion that if he was running a team Rondo would be ahead of Rose on his PG Wish list, and it wouldn't be close...

I listen to him b/c he thinks so backwards...some of it is enlightening. Way different on most topics...but, different isn't always terrible. He's a nice break between Mike and Mike and the dirty version of Mike and Mike (Van Pelt, who covers the exact same stories and says the exact same things)...

There is a lot of pro Rondo talk...but Rose is better...no doubt about that. As far as ESPN. I guess its easy to criticize those guys. After the Jay Cutler injury thing, I kind of lost it with ESPN...dissing Cutler seemed to be the company line...it was disgusting.

But there was one Rose fan iat ESPN before anybody else. He even predicted Rose playing at an MVP level...Ric Bucher. He got laughed at quite a bit a year ago...but he always believed in Rose...

Good point Hef and X. I stopped listening to Cowherd once he said Derrick Rose was fools gold, another Marbury, and theres not one superstar in the league that wants to play with him. Then uses the big three going to Miami as his point, which still didnt make any sense.

yeah...I heard those comments too...Cowherd is not a chicago guy...tho he'd never admit it...he's really not a central-america/midwestern guy at all...prefers the big cities on the coasts...and that's fine. One thing I'll give him credit for; when it's irrefutable that he's wrong, he owns up to it.
