i wonder what's Noah's illness. He was even quarantined to stay at his home. Maybe something contagious? I hope he gets well soon.

He had "flu-like symptoms" so I'm guessing it's probably ... the flu.
Hopefully nothing more serious than that.

Why is it never the 'flu'? it's always 'flu-like'. Is it a marketing gimmick? If we say he has the flue, guys will demand he get out of bed and get in an uniform? Wheras with flu-like symptoms there's a hint of the unknown, so we aren't so quick to judge?

I don't know. the last time I had influenza (about 10 years ago) I knew it was the flu, no question about it. It should be easy to take a blood sample and identify the illness. But they always leave in that hint of doubt that it could be something else.
it is kind of annoying. And if it is just the flu, you still shouldn't be playing basketball, anyway. I don't want someone who is contagious handling the same balls as me.
