Bulls won... but the refs were inexcusably terrible.

...and on the Cavs' side, seemingly.

LeBron had that terrible reach in (and like six other fouls).... no call.

Rose was goaltended.... no call.

Butler was hacked shooting that three... no call.

Mozgov traveled like every possession... no call.

There were at least 2 fouls committed by Butler on LeBron that were clean strips/blocks

Refs almost robbed them.

First, the Ref's were not calling anything on bothe sides ... that means the Bulls, including Thib's, need to shut the **** up and play ball. Why continue to ***** about the calls when the ref's are not calling anything???

Second, I think the Bulls actually did this , for a change, at the end of the game, and look what happened! Sometimes you need to STFU and just play!

So one game they call too many fouls, the next game they don't call enough fouls.

Could it just be you've already built it into your head that the refs are against the Bulls?

Anyways, this game reminds me of a playoff game that could have been played 20 years ago.

By the way, the Bulls shot 10 more FTs than the Cavs. So quit fucking bitching.

What the hell are you? The NBA officials attorney or something? The officiating in this game was clearly horrendous and one sided. The Bulls getting more FT doesn't mean that the refs weren't calling it the other way. It just means that the Cavs were fouling more on the Bulls shots. Do you have an issue with the specific instances the OP pointed out? Or is it just his criticism of the NBA refs that bugs you?

He's actually a ref for high school and college sports so his opinion is an expert one.

That seems to be the case when the bulls play LeBron. They not getting so caught up with the no calls as in series past.

When you look at rebounding, points in the paint, turnovers, and fast break points, all being HEAVILY in the Bulls' favor AND the fact that the Cavs shot so bad, and it was that close, officials were doing everything they could to give the game to Cleveland.

Eh, it was bad on both sides. In the 2nd half, there were quite a few calls and no calls in the Cavs favor but for the most part it was evenly bad. The worst call in the game was the "blocking foul" on Rose when he took a clear as day charge from Lebron. The reason the Cavs were in this game was 3 pointers, not the refs. If we defended the 3 better, this wouldn't have been as close of a game.

Could it be that you'll defend referees no matter how bad they are?

Stop wasting your time with that "the referees are never bad" garbage.

You didn't even mention all of them. There was a foul called on Noah when James ran into him. Also, you didn't even mention Lebron lowering his shoulder when driving on Butler and then shoving off with his arm to create space.

To Butlers credit he's still played epic defense against LeBron even with the garbage calls.

I don't believe I have ever said 'the referees are never bad.' In fact in the game thread I mentioned that the Rose blocking foul on Lebron was bullshit and it cost the Bulls three points.

In fact I said a few times in the game thread that there were no calls on both sides.

I will however maintain my feelings that blaming the refs is a losers mentality, which is funny considering the Bulls won.

So what? The op gave five good examples and could have mentioned more. What makes your criticism more valid than his?

That was a rhetorical question btw.

You could make the case that when players start complaining, it's really more like they're working on excuses for losing.

But this doesn't apply to non participants. They have every right to complain. This losers mentality stuff is garbage. And saying there were bad calls on both sides is so generic, it's not even worth saying. And though it might be true, that doesn't mean it's even.

So your thought that I always think the refs are right is wrong.
